do remember that Catherine Hardwicke is responsible for all the initial casting, whether you like her direction or not, she certainly got the characters

yes she did a great job no doubt the way she had plotted the movie and the sets its really amazing but disappointing too wen heard new moon not being directed by her… jus wanna say best of luck for new projects.New moon would have missd u a lot.i bet.

Okay, after seeing New Moon. I liked certain parts. I did not like how some of the characters style and hair chAnged, how gay some parts were like Edward and Bella running in the forest. I give New Moon a c/ c + at best. It is now my strong belief that New Moon would have taken on a different style and edge if Catherine had directed it. Then again I will never truly know… Unless she directs the next movie

I loved the movie Twilight. Yet I do think that it absolutely sucked. If that makes any sense… although I know it doesn’t. It’s just impossible for me to not love the movie. But everything was different from the book!! None of the characters were developed at all!! Bella was supposed to meet Alice before she goes to their house!! And the meadow, don’t even get me started… It’s gonna mess up New Moon I’ll tell you that.
I’m excited for the new director, I think it’s a good idea to get different directors showing a variety of techniques and styles “playing up the field”

Yah, I read about this on stephanie’s site too. It looks like a really interesting book, but I’m kinda disapointed with katherine hardwicke… She did a wonderful job with twilight, and it seems sad that she’s just giving away the chance to direct new moon. It seemed like she really understood what was going on in the book… Hope the new director does too..
