  1. Ugh, I just watched the Nightmare on Elm Street remake on AMC. Its terrible. Everything about it is terrible except Jackie Earle Haley. He was great. But the Friday the 13th remake was actually pretty good. Just stay out of horror Michael Bay!

  2. Disney can reboot the Star Wars prequels for all I care. In a way, I think remakes are essential, but original Star Wars trilogy and Lord of the Rings can never be remade.

  3. Ant-Man needs Pym, as does Avengers. And we need Goliath, Giant-Man, Wasp….

  4. Aw man. It’s going to be my Bane vs. Dyce’s Bane REAL SOON.

    • I approve of this idea.

      • I’m practicing my Fifty Shades monologues already.

      • Me too! Have at it!

    • How about a bane rap battle

      • wow are videos show up now.

  5. How do you feel about korra after last weeks “redeeming” episode Anthony?

  6. 1. Gravity
    2. Captain Philips
    3. Carrie
    4. Bad Grandpa
    5. The Counsler

  7. *Counselor
    Oh and 10. Enough Said

  8. I like Kofi but the podcast flowed more smoothly with everyone talking equally.

    • We must act like gentlemen in the presence of a lady!

  9. Hank Pym better be in Ant Man. He just better.

Seriously, listening to you guys is ruining me. I’m starting to find it harder and harder to have conversations with people about TV and movies because the way I watch and analyze them has changed. The blank, glassy-eyed stares are becoming way too common!

What do you guys think about them possibly remaking animated movies? Would studios consider doing that eventually? I don’t see them doing any of the princesses, I’m thinking of other older Disney classics like Bambi, Robin Hood, and The Rescuers.

Also, case in point on girls being terrible to each other, when I was in the seventh grade, the cattiness and bullying among the girls was so bad, my school brought in a counselor and all of the girls in 6th through 8th grade had to attend group counseling sessions.

  10. Bad grandpa
    The counsler
    Captain Philips
    The fifth estate

  11. My favorite podcast to date. I like how under his breath Anthony tells Amy “we’ll have to talk about this when we’re married.” Ocasio is quite a character.

    • He says that to me as well when we play video games.

      • But I never say it in a whisper!

  12. I did the same thing with my girlfriend. I had her watch Star Wars chronologically. She’d never seen it before and she didn’t care for it that way.

  13. We don’t need this Chronicle stuff for paranormal activity. It’s a ripoff of Chronicle! Making it look bad!

  14. Defiantly one of the best podcasts yet. Its great to hear you guys talk about your own creative pursuits and hypothetical hollywood scenarios.

  15. Box office battle

    1. Gravity
    2. The Counselor
    3. Captain Phillips
    4. Carrie
    5. Bad grandpa
    10. The fifth estate

  16. Ben – Supporting reboots? I flip flopped earlier this year and wrote a blog about it. I used to get angry about a lot of reboots, but now I embrace them. It’s lowered my blood pressure and probably lengthened my lifespan. Welcome to the club!

  17. Box-office pick:

    1. Gravity
    2. The Counselor
    3. Carrie
    4. Captain Phillips
