Happy Friends Day! Today’s a day that, according to Facebook, is about Celebrating the Importance of Connections. But more importantly, it’s the last work day before Super Bowl weekend!

And by that we mean, the weekend of the best and most expensive TV commercials and movie ads. For the 50th annual Super Bowl championship taking place Sunday, February 7, 6:30 PM at San Francisco’s Levi’s Stadium there will be quite a lot to look forward to for movie geeks like us, including a brand new 60-second trailer for what we suspect is Captain America: Civil War.

It’s become a bit of a tradition for Disney and Marvel Studios to advertise their summer blockbusters during the big game with Avengers: Age of Ultron taking a spot last year (during the Canadian broadcast) and the Iron Man films in years prior showing entirely new footage.

For this year, Marvel is teaming up with another major sponsor in Coca-Cola, and have sent out neat Marvelthemed bundles of Coke cans – featuring minimalist art of key Avengers – to certain outlets to promote their presence at Super Bowl 50. Here’s an image via Screen Crush:

Cap’s eyes are crazy! There’s a spider on Natasha’s face! If you take a closer look at each character, their eyes are actually related symbols. Cap’s eyes are shields, Falcon has a bird silhouette centered on his mask, Hulk’s eyes are fists, Iron Man’s eyes are flying Iron Men, and the other two are their respective insects. These cool packages shipped with a note that read:

“02.07.16. The Big Game is just the beginning. Follow @CocaCola to watch the story unfold.”

Adweek reveals that the Marvel-Coca-Cola Super Bowl commercial will be a 60-second spot and will air during the second quarter of Sunday’s CBS telecast. And given last year’s reports that 30 seconds costs approximately $5 million (11% greater than last year), we can easily see why Marvel and Coca-Cola are teaming up for the $10 million trailer.

We also know via Ad Age that the spot will include Coke’s new “Taste the Feeling” tagline and that it will not release early.

We wouldn’t be surprised if a full-length extended Cap 3 trailer surfaces online around the same time as well as in previous years.
