790: Did you see my review? I thought it filled the void and the premiere episode did a great job.

Jukeofurl: Sadly, high heels in space makes ratings.

Tal: I get where you're coming from. Good points. I've just been over saturated myself!

I have little interest Caprica. I'm sure it will be entertaining to some degree but it won't be anything like BSG and that show is a hard act to follow.

I felt the backstory for the Cylon raison detre, was believable as well as compelling. However, IMO BSG went downhill stretching the same tired plot getting more & more soap suds on everything. If the writers can avoid that happening again, I'll go for it. BTW knock off the hooker make-up & high heels in space too.

This doesn't seem like overkill, at least not to me. The start of a new Battlestar Galactica series is a great way to introduce new people to the BSG mythology and universe. From that point of view, the harder SyFy advertises and the more venues they advertise in, the more people get introduced to the franchise, which hopefully will translate into more new viewers when the season starts next year.
