The newest issue of Empire, is out this Friday and you can expect an extra special dose of Watchmen. With March 6 fast approaching, Watchmen’s marketing campaign is in full force and Empire has an exclusive character-by-character look at the cast in beautiful black-and-white.
These images come courtesy of official photographer on the set of Watchmen, Clay Enos. He has produced a companion entitled Watchmen: Portraits, which is a 192-page black-and-white collection of every character as well as every crew member in the production.

The leading heroes, including Rorschach, Nite Owl II, the Comedian, Dr. Manhattan, and Ozymandias can be found at Empire–in high-res.
The coffee table hardcover is sure to be a unique look at the production of the “un-filmable” graphic novel. Everything from the main cast to extras was photographed, plus the crew responsible for putting the film together. The visual record will be available February 10.

Those are great. They look like poses set for reference for future McFarlane Toys sculpts. Which would be awesome, BTW.
Seriously, very cool pictures. I for one cannot wait for this movie, it should be amazing.
I can really feel the buzz growing for this and I hope by the time it gets really close its like a taser in my brain!!
With Watchmen on the way, one can only hope for a TRUE League Of Extraordinary Gentlemen, Knightfall, Preacher or Hitman (the COMIC, not the PC-games) adaptation.
Only time will tell…

Preacher is in development hell for SO many years now, I completely lost hope.
But as I said, if Watchmen works (and by that I mean $$$), then there is a chance that other comicbooks will be treated with the respect they deserve.

I thought that might happen after The Dark Knight. And because of a Oscar snubb, I’m thinking it might not ever happen.
Maybe Watchmen will take “Best Picture” in the 82nd Academy Awards?

Exhibit B: Denzel Washington for Training day(Denzel deserved it, but not for Training Day. Only award that piece of crap deserved was for Eva Mendes’ boobs)
Remember laying eyes on Malin Ackerman in Entourage stark naked? That was part of E’s threesome episode. Anyhow, she looks great above, too! Cool, much anticipated!

I think we should wait and watch the movie before we bury it in Oscars.
Not that I think it will turn out bad or something, but I have been let down too many times before.
