Who cares????? The role doesn’t carry that much weight in Eclipse. In the scenes requiring dialogue, the new girl did fine. She was better than the Turd that played Riley…..he was awful. But neither one matters in the grand scheme of things. So get over it

saw it; the new victroia was nowhere near as good as the old one. she wasn’t scary at all, and she was… cute. i don’t think she did a terrible job but she simply wasn’t suited to the role. the original actress was far more creepy. oh well.

After seeing the premiere the other night I was disappointed by Victoria’s character. Rachelle had a real edge when playing Victoria. She made you hate her for her ruthlessness. BHD just didn’t have the same intensity for Victoria and actually made her seem a bit weak in comparison.

Rachelle was MUCH better as Victoria! Saw Eclipse tonight and BDH just doesn’t have the ruthless insanity that RLF brings to the role. It ruined the movie’s line about Victoria, as far as I’m concerned, especially as so much of the movie was ABOUT her! Anyhoo, visually the movie was stunning…

OMG!!! I saw Eclipse last night, and I DID NOT like BDH as Victoria, I’m really disappointed. She doesn’t have the edge that Rachelle Lefevre has in Victoria, that pure badass attitude…BDH really missed the point.

Rachelle did a great job as Victoria and I hate it when actors/actresses get changed mid-series. However, since she and her representation knew the shooting began in August, it was really stupid to agree to another film shoot that would take up an entire third of that month. She should have known better. Bryce is a really good actress and if she can help elevate the overall twilight cast performance, then maybe this will all turn out for the best anyway. Dakota can’t make the movies better all by herself.

Amen, I totally agree, I guess Summit feels that BDH has more star power. The only thing that could make this any worse would be if they were to cast Minnie Driver or Julia Roberts.

despite bryce being a good actress I really don’t like this change. Bryces face is too sweet and doesn’t hold the character/personality of victoria like rachel did.

Rachelle had that sinister look in her eyes that made her perfect for the part. Not to mention her awesome acting skills. To replace her just before her “close up” in the movie… that was definitely a low ball… and besides… it is Summit's fault, they could have just asked her to come back. She was only gonna be gone 10 days out of a 3 month period. Come on Summit, why fix something that was OBVIOUSLY working GREAT!!! And I doubt fans will boycott the movie just because of the recasting, but some will. Bryce WILL NOT do the role justice.
