Bruce Willis will do a good job as Kane. Now considering who should play Lynch, the perfect person i think….Bryan Cranston from Breaking Bad. He already shows his ability to be deranged and very intimidating. And to top it off, he looks like the game producers grafted his face for Lynch. He would be perfect.!

@ Mike. Thats a cool idea, i would love to see the two of them on a movie together, but not on this one. I think Nic Cage could be great opposite Willis in this, or as someone already mentioned Val Kilmer.

This really could be the game adaptation that breaks the cycle!. Loved every ‘albeit short’ moment of the game. But i really want to see Assassin’s Creed as a movie!

I wanna toss out some names for Lynch. Jeff Bridges, John Malkovich, or (deep breath) Val Kilmer. Check Kilmer in latter fare such as Felon. He could own this part. This seems a bit intense for Bridges, but to deny his resemblance to the character(or vice versa) would be foolish. Lastly, John Malkovich, as he could easily slip into that unstable man’s shoes. Problem with Malkovich is, he’d have to dumb himself down a little, and play it more physically than he’s ever done. I find his mannerisms to be a bit too…aristocratic to be believable as a regular Joe, and the way he speaks is not nearly rough enough for Lynch. That being said, my first choice, in the realm of playing opposite Willis, is Kilmer.

Kane & Lynch is incredibly cinematic. I hope they keep that shootout with the Japanese cops from the game. That was right out of the movie Heat and if there’s anyone who belongs in an epic Michael Mann style city wide war, it’s Bruce Willis.

Btw, Ross, by any chance do you, or anyone else, know other “stunt coordinators” turned directors?

I would hope he will at least get the action right since the action in the mentioned movies was pretty damn good. However all those movies did lack the story elements that I think this movie will DESPERATELY need to set it apart and make it good. I hope the director can learn from the mistakes of those movies.

Great casting choice. Perfect, pretty much.

The game had a great cinematic feel, although I wasn’t interested in the gameplay and quit after a few hours.

The characters were very interesting though.

A directorial debut is better than a crappy director so I’m looking forward to more news.

I think either John Malkovich or Jeff Bridges could make a great cast as Lynch. Gameplay was kinda bad but it does have movie potential.
