    How true!!
    @ High Kalibur
    Hilarious!
    Youngblood? If anything, why in the wonderful world of fantasy, use such lousy source material? On the positive side, depth could be added without even trying. SOOOOOOO much room for improvement.
    Just to note; when there is W.I.L.D.C.A.T.S. why would one even consider YB? Hmmmmmm? Silverhawk would be great on the screen. I believe that W.I.L.D.C.A.T.S. could creatively work great, in light of Watchmen, there are new possibilities that could launch. I happen to own a pile of youngblood birdcage liners. I definitely disapprove of Brent Rantner. He should be outsourced. This almost seems to stupid to be true. I say it never happens. quality control has to be hiding somewhere.

    and Rush Hour was a lame retread of his movie Money Talks from a year or two before, keeping Chris Tucker and replacing Charlie Sheen with Jackie Chan..... LOL

    @SK47
    I loved Falling Down; who would have thought a man trying to get home would be soo entertaining. But if we use that logic, we have to give Bret a chance; he did direct Rush Hour.
  • Dave
    LOLz John

    @John

    C'mon, give Schumacher some credit. So the bat-nipples were a mistake, hey, he did direct Falling Down--sic movie!

    @Dave
    I don't know; seems like a match made in the other place. :-)

    @Tim
    I think Joel Shummacher belongs on that list.

    I never thought it would happen, but this man is almost an American version of Uwe Boll. Opinion poll: Who more deserves to be staked out in the Arizona desert after being doused in sugar water, Uwe or the Rat?
  • Dave
    This is an absolute match made in heaven.

    Junky hack director for a junk hack comic book - AWESOME!!!!!!!
  • lol, so universal non-acceptance of this project (as I expected).

    My buds tell me this comic is bad as well.
  • BRETT RATNER...they need to stop giving him movies..especially ones that have good potential..

    Youngbloods was a ballsy comic, that needs a real harsh, Nolan type of director...

    Maybe because Youngbloods is not that popular their just throwing it way
  • SK47
    WildC.A.T.S was a better book, if anything, I would like to see a Silverhawk picture, do you guys remember than comic?

    What I find most hilarious is Ratner's production company title: Rat Entertainment. HAHA, how appropriate!
  • Gary
    I never liked Youngblood,
    But if they put a good story together I will go see it.
  • bigDOG
    So combining Brett Ratner suckage and Youngblood being a horrible comic= Epic Failure.
  • High Kalibur
    I'm sorry... um... er... Youngblood is not a good comic book and... well... Brett Ratner... how shall we say... sucks.
  • Youngblood??? Seriously? Why? I mean, even the Ratner problems aside (X-Men 3 really was hideous, but my biggest issue with that film was the script), was this ever a really good comic book? I just remember picking up the first issue when it came out years ago and wondering how anyone could make a comic book with absolutely no plot to it. I was so turned off that I never went looking for the second issue. Maybe the series got better as it went along, but I considered it a perfect example of why artists are not always qualified to write their own comics. If Ratner thinks this is the best of what's left to adapt from comics, then he must not have read very many of them.
  • Gigan300
    bret ratner shouldnt be let near a movie set ever.
  • The InFamous NeuroJockey
    Fanboys buy movie tickets.
    Fanboys do multiple viewings of the same film if the movie or source material is loved, sometimes in the opening weekend. Fanboys make or break pre-appeal for a film.

    So, let's hire the most disliked director of fan fare.

    Logic = Zero.

    Lame !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
