Bedraggled wizards, entranced lovers, rampaging cartoon animals, along with three men and a monkey – which is fortunately not the belated sequel to 3 Men & a Little Lady – are what’s on display in today’s collection of cinematic imagery.

There’s the first image from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 now online, along with an official production still from The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn for everyone to either gawk or squirm over (take your pick), and new pics from two films out the 2011 sequel crop, The Hangover 2 and Kung Fu Panda 2.

The wizarding world will literally never be the same after this summer’s eighth and final Harry Potter movie hits theaters around the globe. Those who found Deathly Hallows: Part 1 a bit slow and meandering will be especially pleased with Part 2, which amps up the action quotient to 11 and features an exciting robbery of Gringotts Wizarding Bank (complete with blind dragons) – as well as a climactic showdown between the forces of good and evil at Hogwarts Castle.

Though he’s long been regarded as clumsy and weak, Gryffindor’s Neville Longbottom (Matthew Lewis) has been leading a student resistance against Voldemort’s Death Eaters in the absence of Harry and Co. That task has very much taken a toll on him, as can be noted in the image of a bruised and beaten Neville (note: that’s Bellatrix Lestrange (Helena Bonham Carter) lurking in the background) from Deathly Hallows: Part 2.

Breaking Dawn

Following in the foosteps of J.K. Rowling’s boy wizard saga, the final chapter in Stephenie Meyer’s saga of mortals, vampires, and shape-shifters, Breaking Dawn will be split into two films. Part 1 arrives this fall and focuses largely on the blissful newlyweds Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) and Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson). The duo vacation in the luxurious locale that is Rio de Janeiro for their honeymoon, where they finally “give in to their passions.”

What better way to prepare moviegoers for that event than releasing a (pardon the term) pre-game image of the swooning lovers cuddling up in bed, bathed in the warm glow of luminous sunlight? We’ve already seen a teaser of the aftermath, which results in pillow feathers strewn all about the bedroom (don’t ask), and now there’s a peek at the pale-skinned couple themselves… Awesome?

The Hangover 2

In need of a heavy drink after that glimpse into the personal lives of Mr. & Mrs. Cullen? While we can’t offer you a healthy dose of booze to wash down the sensation, there is a new image from The Hangover 2 for you to peruse instead.

Phil (Bradley Cooper), Stu (Ed Helms), Alan (Zach Galifianakis), and Doug (Justin Bartha) are back in the Hangover followup, which follows the troublesome foursome to Bangkok for Stu’s wedding. Their plans for a safe pre-wedding breakfast go predictably askew and results in even more alcohol-fueled shenanigans and debauchery.

This new image from the film finds Alan, Phil, and Stu in a most peculiar situation opposite a newfound simian comrade. Reportedly, Galifianakis’ wild man is now a monk (hence the shaved head), while that facial tattoo on Helms’ face may be the handiwork of Liam Neeson. Life in Thailand can be strange that way sometimes.

Kung Fu Panda 2

Speaking of monkeys and (party) animals, Jack Black is back in furry animated form as the ever-hungry Po in Dreamworks’ Kung Fu Panda 2, a.k.a. Kung Fu Panda: The Kaboom of Doom. This time the titular round mound of martial arts rebound must team up with The Furious Five – Tigress (Angelina Jolie), Crane (David Cross), Mantis (Seth Rogen), Viper (Lucy Liu), and Monkey (Jackie Chan) – to defeat a new villain who possesses a weapon that could destroy Kung Fu itself.

Passing over the mechanics of this Kaboom of Doom, the Kung Fu Panda sequel looks to be as brightly colorful and energetic as its predecessor. The early posters and teaser for the film highlight its mix of humor with stylish animated action, which should still be entertaining this second time around. Plus, it’s difficult to not be curious about how Charlie Kaufman’s script polishing will show through in the final product.
