  1. Poor Huell, still sitting in that room :(

  2. I clicked on download like I usually do to get the dl file to transfer on my phone but it keeps going to a browser player. This is for Chrome. Just a heads up :)

  4. The spoiler problem.

    I agree with Kofi.

Does anybody listen to the Screen Rant podcast and then turn it off at the spoiler warning? Just because they haven’t seen the movie yet?

    No.

You guys should just put the spoiler warning right at the beginning and open the conversation up. This dancing around the “spoilers” talk in the beginning of your review has got to be a pain in the ass. None of the other movie review podcasts that I’m aware of do this…… They drop the warning right at the top and then go full speed ahead.

    • yeah there shouldnt be nonspoilers discussion, it just makes things messy. You guys spend time just giving vague feeling about what you watched and then when you switch to spoilers you skip a lot of in depth stuff because you dont have time, id just prefer full spoilers discussion.

    • “Does anybody listen to the Screen Rant podcast and then turn it off at the spoiler warning? Just because they haven’t seen the movie yet?” Well yeah of course. What do you think people do, spoil themselves?

I am going to start by saying i didn’t watch Breaking Bad episode to episode when it first came out, but after listening to you guys of the podcast started to talk about it, then i watched the first three episodes and i was hooked, this is why i listen to the podcast, you guys talk about it and i look into it and i end watching it, i am so busy sometimes that things tend too slip under my radar but when they do i can always depend on Screen Underground to inform me what i am missing, thank you, with that being said, i think Breaking Bad earns the status that the fans have given it. This was one of the best written shows on TV, the best part unlike a lot of shows that have the chance to tell there complete story, Vince Gilligan and his writing staff, delivered from start to finish one of the best stories i have seen.

R.I.P. BREAKING BAD, you were one of the most entertaining and well written PSA….

  6. The Question would of been an interesting detective show.

  8. If it were a perfect world we would have a Rorschach spinoff show on HBO or something. Sure we don’t need it and it will never happen but I love me some Rorschach.

  9. Ben, I’m surprised you haven’t heard of Todd’s nickanme- Meth Damon.

    • *Name

  10. If it was Vincent Nigel-Murray’s death, don’t worry, I cried too.

    • BOOM!

    • Dont make me go.
      lol.
I was more disappointed than sad, he was my favorite intern.

      • Don’t hate, Cody! Do you know how many terrible movies I had to watch because I chose your box office picks?! I don’t remember how many…. but it was at least 27. ;-)

        Feel bad!

        • But I wasnt hatin….I said I liked him too.
When they were showing the guy setup his rifle I was really hoping angela was going to get shot, I really dont like her character.

Now we have the lame vaziri all the time, he couldve gone too.

          …..I miss Zack Addy.

          • Zack was good, but man, he must have REALLY pissed off the 3 bigs on that show!

What happens when you mess with Angel? Cannibalism.

            • But yeah when he got shot I was like
              “Why are they showing him….no…..no..”
              then he gets shot
“F*CK! the one perso I didnt want to get shot”
              and as hes bleeding out
              “no no no no….”

and then they sang put the lime in the coconut….

              • And had sex!

  11. Complaining about DC/WB only doing Batman stuff instead of lesser known characters and completely ignoring Constantine. smh.

  12. You guys need to listen to Anthony and watch Shameless, its an amazing show, he is not overselling it. Its like 70%comedy 30%drama, and its Showtime best series, definitely a gem.

  13. Also, was I the only one who thought that Walt was going to try some of his meth for the first time when the song played while he was picking something up lol (which turned out to be the gas mask). Just saying, that would have been hilarious for him to go out thinking to himself “Why the hell not, it’s my baby and I’m about to die”. Loved the ending though!

    • That would have been an interesting angle to explore!

  14. Im lovin Sleepy Hollow, didnt expect itd be good. Uses horror elements with a story that interests me in a way that American Horror Story couldnt.

    • Ya? I’m going to have to watch.

I’m just watching The Blacklist now.

  15. “I’m trying to think of a really good character driven drama”

Umm how about the best show on television right now Game of Thrones.

  16. Well, I’ve decided to start watching Six Feet Under.

    1. Runner Runner

  17. …Alright i have things here, I thought the Dexter series was very lackluster, it should have ended with him riding into the storm, not him becoming a lumberjack,i was very disappointed.
Second, when i heard about the ‘Gotham’ FOX show, i was kinda meh. And i heard it might be set before Batman, and still fighting proto-villains, it would be interesting too see characters like Black Mask and other villains that have street ties, it also be kinda interesting to see The Court of Owls, they predate Batman, and they could be the over arching villains pulling the strings in the series.

Also i am just throwing this out, in the first episode of Breaking Bad, did the knowledge of the diagnose of the cancer change the fundamentally who he was or did it awaken something ?….Did Walt in going down this path reveal things that was always within him or it did he actually change become something different?

    • Interesting question. Outside of Gilligan stating that Walter White “broke bad” in the very first episode, the only other angle I’ve seen jump on is that the show is about about men feeling worthless at a certain age.

You can listen to Gilligan and Jeff Garlin talk about it on Garlin’s podcast, By The Way, In Conversation with Jeff Garlin: http://www.earwolf.com/episode/vince-gilligan/

  18. Spider-Man and the X-Men in Arcade’s Revenge IS a great game, man. It’s tough, I give you that, but so is getting a man on the moon.

  19. Box office

  20. First time listening to the podcast. Good stuff. I’d like Gothom show to span over different eras. Before bat man and during batman. Spread out over a bunch of seasons. Few seasons pre batman, then a few seasons during batman. We get to see the growth of GPD and the effect’s of Batman’s existence without showing him in action.

  21. …..One of the best parts for me was how ‘Breaking Bad’ incorporated songs to reflect what was going on in the story, it had one of the best soundtracks next too earlier season’s of ‘ Supernatural’ . And lot of people thought it was a little too ‘ on the nose’ for them too use Badfinger’s ‘ Baby Blue’ as the ending song, i thought it was brilliant, and not just for the use of the color ‘blue’ in the title, i thought the song’s lyrics summed up the whole series.
