While Shannon Beador joined The Real Housewives of Orange County in season 9, it definitely felt like she had been a cast member since the premiere. Between her close friendship with Tamra Judge and Vicki Gunvalson and her difficult divorce, Shannon has bared it all. Fans have seen her highs and lows, from having a great time on vacation to getting emotional over her the end of her marriage.

While "the OG of the O.C." Vicki Gunvalson has had many epic arguments, Shannon fought with her friends, too, and she has been the subject of many dramatic storylines on RHOC. Sometimes fans knew that Shannon had the right intentions, and at other moments, viewers couldn't support her.

The Real Housewives has featured many weddings and there have been a few vow renewals as well. On RHOC alone, Vicki, Shannon, and Braunwyn Windham-Burke all had second ceremonies.

From a couple's therapy weekend away to a vow renewal, Shannon tried hard to fix her marriage to David. When she admitted that he had an affair, it was clear that she was in a lot of pain, and fans knew that this was an awful time for her. It was impossible not to feel for Shannon in this situation, as cameras followed the couple for a long time, and David often seemed argumentative with his wife.

Didn't: When She Fought With Kelly Over Their Products

Kelly Dodd RHOC

Kelly Dodd has fought with other cast members and that includes Shannon.

Kelly was part of Positive Beverage but recently was fired over her COVID-19 pandemic comments. When she heard that Shannon had a beverage line of her own coming out, she was upset and said that Shannon was copying her. Shannon explained that she was coming out with a tincture and that it was totally different. It seems like many fans were confused about why Shannon got so heated during this conversation, as all she had to say was that her product was different. The Real Housewives have many products so it wasn't out of the blue that Shannon would also be working on something.

Gina Kirchenheiter holding her chin in her hand on RHOC

On the most recent season of RHOC, Gina Kirschenheiter said she talked about Shannon and John's relationship "from a place of concern." Shannon said she didn't want them talking behind her back and said, "I get it that you were concerned, but I haven't really heard from you much. I thought if you were so concerned you'd pick up the phone and check in."

Viewers can take friendship advice from the Real Housewives and one common complaint is when people talk behind each other's backs. It made sense that Shannon wanted Gina to have a real conversation with her.

Didn't: When She Said Vicki Caused Her To Gain Weight

Fans didn't like when Shannon said her drama with Vicki resulted in weight gain.

While Shannon didn't deserve to struggle so much, it doesn't make much sense to say that another person caused this, and it seems like she should focus on her own life and feeling her best. If she had so much trouble being friends with Vicki, it would seem much more logical to take a break from her rather than make outrageous claims.

Supported: When She Got Sophie Ready For College

Sometimes the Bravo franchise featured serious topics, and Shannon often wondered about the effect of her divorce on her three daughters. Sophie told her that she was writing a memoir about the experience.

Shannon's daughter Sophie started attending Baylor in the most recent season, and Shannon made sure that her daughter was ready for college. Many viewers could likely relate to Shannon wanting Sophie to be as prepared as possible. Sure, maybe she went a bit overboard, but fans know that Shannon is very organized and loves planning.

Didn't: When Braunwyn Told Everyone Shannon Said Gina's House Was Small

Shannon fighting with Kelly on The Real Housewives Of Orange County

It's very easy for fights to start on The Real Housewives and in one scene, Braunwyn Windham-Burke and Shannon were discussing the townhouse that Gina and her boyfriend had moved into.

It seemed like they were both saying that the house was small, especially since they had six kids between them. Later, Braunwyn told everyone that Shannon said the home was "sad and depressing," which upset Shannon, who claimed she never said those words. Whether she did or not, Shannon didn't exactly stick up for her friend Gina, and the vibe of the conversation was that Gina's home was too tiny for her family. It was hard to support Shannon here.

Supported: When Heather Told Shannon To Leave Her House

Heather Dubrow from The Real Housewives of Orange County

In season 9, Heather and Shannon met at Heather's house, and Shannon told Heather that she had confided in Tamra about her marital problems. She was disappointed that Tamra talked to Heather about it. Shannon sounded very emotional as she said it was painful for her children for people to talk about this. Heather got angry and kicked Shannon out of her house.

Why didn't Heather sympathize with what Shannon was going through? It's a bit confusing that Heather couldn't see things from her perspective.

Didn't: When She Ignored Her Friends For A Day In Jamaica

Shannon looking upset in Jamaica on RHOC

In season 13, the women went to Jamaica, and Shannon stayed in her hotel room because she was upset.

Shannon's friends became really worried when she basically went MIA for a day. She didn't answer her phone and wouldn't talk to them, and they didn't know what was happening. Shannon later explained that she was having a tough time, and while fans sympathize with her divorce, it wasn't right to ignore her friends like that. It would have been better if she had told them that she needed some alone time and that she appreciated their support and concern.

Supported: When Kelly Mentioned David Cheating On Shannon

Shannon threw a '70s themed party in season 11, and it was full of drama, like most gatherings on this show.

Shannon had a big fight with Kelly and her then-husband Michael, and Kelly said to David, "No wonder why you cheated on your wife." This was a really mean thing to say, and it was hard not to support Shannon at this moment. It would have been painful enough to hear that in private, but Kelly said it at a big party, which made it even worse.

Didn't: When She Talked To Braunwyn's Children At The Vow Renewal

People noticed that Shannon had a lot to drink at Braunwyn and Sean's vow renewal in the most recent season of RHOC.

Shannon went up to Jacob and Rowan, two of their children, and mentioned her own vow renewal. She said, “So, I just have to tell you. My husband surprised me with a vow renewal, and it didn’t work out after that. But my children all said to me tonight that your vow renewal was upbeat and fun and good and ‘it was so different than yours, Mom.’ But for you guys, you guys were involved, and it was so upbeat and happy. You guys are blessed and you guys have nothing but good things to look forward to.” It was a little strange that she would say this to them, and the kids looked pretty uncomfortable.
