It just kills me that S.Jackson is playing Fury! I guess the young kids'll like it. Bad call. His acting is basically yelling at people and belittling them. Fury was a man that was looked up to, not a militant. By the way I'm black, so this is'nt racial.

The Avengers comprise Captain America, Iron Man, Thor and the Hulk. Nick Fury is in charge of SHIELD and starts the Avengers by convincing all of them to work as a team, but he isnt an Avenger.

Why has Kevin Feige avoided naming Bruce Banner and instead said “some elements of the Hulk universe”?

Has Edward Norton refused to play Hulk in the Avengers?

I would love to see a Hawkeye cameo!! I want something unexpected and surprising like Nick Fury’s cameo after the credits in the first film!! I want something that gives me goosebumps and leaves me hungry for more. You know what I mean hahaha I don’t have to explain it. Every comic book/superhero nerd feels the same way as I do.

it wouldnt really be an avengers movie if there where only 3 or 4 MAIN avengers, you need to have the whole group otherwise its nothing but fancy stars playing along side each other.

i think th villain might be “the leader” from the hulk universe, as in the end of the new hulk (before the “big fight”) we see that professor guy have chemicals drip onto his head, then his head starts deforming, but we’re quickly cut to the fight.
other then that i dont see anyone else from the hulk universe being in avengers (maybe banner for a few secs)

In terms of the Russian accent, it’s fair to say that she initially wouldn’t have one amongst those she’s trying to fool such as Stark and co. but in action and conversing with her Russian comrades, she either needs to be speaking Russian or speaking English with a Russian accent. It would be too easy for Johannson to cheat or try to get away with not having to learn some Russian or the accent, her NOT EVER needing to, would be a copout and would reflect that she too lazy or just isn’t skilled enough to do it. Even though Whiplash isn’t a spy, Mickey Rourke still learned the accent and it sounds pretty authentic so far. It would only be right and fair that Black Widow would do the same in certain parts of the movie.

Well they are also taking some stuff from the “Ultimate” universe (African American Fury) so:

After Hawkeye and the Widow led the successful extermination of over five hundred Chitauri extraterrestrial subversives, the duo was promoted to the ranks of the Ultimates, S.H.I.E.L.D.’s celebrity super-agents, with newly falsified personal backgrounds. Alongside the Ultimates, Black Widow helped save Earth from a Chitauri plot. She and teammate Iron Man (wealthy playboy genius Tony Stark) became lovers during the struggle, and later began dating seriously, despite Natasha’s mutually hostile relationship with Stark’s caustic butler, Edwin Jarvis.

Giving Natasha the female equivalent of his Iron Man battle armor, Stark asked her to marry him and she said yes; however, the bloody massacre of Clint Barton’s entire family by a secret traitor within the Ultimates cast a pall over Tony and Natashas’ wedding preparations.

While in bed with Tony on the morning of the Liberators’ attack, Natasha pulled a gun from under her pillow and killed Jarvis, and then proceeded to point the weapon at Tony. Tony then proceeded to activate the nanites in her bloodstream (the ones that allowed her to control her armor), paralyzing her, and then struck her in the head with a champagne bottle.

After the Ultimates defeated Loki and the Liberators, Natasha was seen recovering in a nearby hospital. However, as soon as she woke up, Hawkeye entered, and killed her, finally getting revenge for the murder of his wife and kids.
