I was born in 1971. I watched these movies (blaxploitation) in the mid to late 80′s. I love them and can’t wait to see Black Dynamite.

I’m glad to see that the Man hasn’t been able to stop the production of quality movies! It is the empirialistic and capitalistic society that’s been holding back the black man!! We didn’t land of Plymouth Rock….

Oh man, how did you get out?! I thought I had that black panther guy locked away.

I remember seeing the trailer and it looks good to me. Hope it’s coming to the DC area.

Saw Black Dynamite at the Toronto After Dark Film Festival last week and it is fantastic. Spot on parody of blaxploitation with brilliant nods everywhere in the film. Michael Jai White is a powerhouse in the lead role. Unfreaking believable.

I’m thrilled to hear it will be out in theatres – grab so friends and go, it’s great to see with a crowd.

I thought the trailer looked pretty funny, but I will probably wait for the DVD release to see this. Of course, I could check out the matinee on it one day because there is NO way my GF will ever see this with me. LOL.
