They had good scripts and it was before Eddie went on his family movie kick. I don't think we need to even talk about how bad the third film was do we? Film the movie in Detroit, have the two cops from Beverly Hills come out there on a case and let it roll from there. Take the franchise back to basics and this should do well at the box office. There's no timeline on that yet, I don't see why they can't do both. And really neither of these projects has even started pre-production. I'm glad they got high-class writers though, I liked both of those film and both were pretty well-written.
