@ am glad to see that Eddie Murphyy is hanging it up. In my opinion his career was over a long time ago, he just never quit.

I would absolutely love another Beverly Hills Cop. Just hearing that awesome music again would be satisfying, heh.

Murphy needs a big hit as well for the non-children out there

It’s been 14 + years since BHC3 I don’t even remember what it was about?? So does Foley retire in the film?

Since his first couple of films BHC… etc

Everything else was downhill. I was never a fan of the Nutty proffesor or any of those family movies he did … So im glad hell be going back to doing what he does best.

Delerious to this day is still the funniest Stand up that I have ever seen

I’m not going to try to be mean, but I do think he should retire from movies.

(LOL, maybe then we wont have to sit through Shrek 4 and 5)

He should honestly get more gritty scripts and stories rather then typical “G” rated Disney crap for kids. He did well in movies like Trading Places, 48 Hours and BHC because they were great stories. I blame his agents in pushing him towards the kids stuff, and also on Hollywood for making crappy kids movies instead of films that grownups can enjoy and with great stories. I could honestly write an entire series and rename it “Detroit Cop” and place his character in Detroit, maybe for the first one invite tagger and rosewood as visitors to see how cops do things in Detroit. The problem my friends is not Murphy, but Hollywood. It is absent of ideas and stories and that is why it fails more then it wins. They forgot to entertain us with the best. Instead they have become fast buck artists looking to make a quick buck and have forgotten the art of telling real, and great stories. I am a published author and can tell you this is the very case, so we all lose and they lose too. Maybe BHC4 will be better than 3 was…good luck Eddie and co.

You can’t take all the blame off Murphy. He had good intentions: Once he became a father, wanting to make movies his young kids could watch. It’s just that he hasn’t made any GOOD ones.

Apparently it’s really tough to make a funny G or PG rated movie that isn’t animated.
