  1. That AT&T Vid was hilarious.

    • Totally! The unnessecary censorship vids are funny too.

  2. Yep, Honest Trailers and Cinema Sins are awesome.

  3. Some fine memories in both of the Ray Harryhausen tributes (Jack Perez not knowing whether or not the Rhedosaurus from The Beast From 20 000 Fathoms was based on an actual dinosaur might account for the quality of his directorial output).

Everything Wrong With Star Trek: yup, that’s about right.

How To Draw Iron Man’s Helmet: whoever that is might want to cut that right cheek and jaw (our right) in a bit before telling everyone else how to draw…

  4. Ok, as a true nerd, the Audi Spock vs. Spock video had me laughing so had I was crying.

  5. oh…. i almost couldn’t breathe, the AT&T and the star trek ones were hilarious.

  6. The Trek “sins” video has a reasonable opinion and perspective, but numbering the “sins” encourages more than should really be listed. Ultimately, ignorance of Trek science/stories/lore is on display more than insight about perceived errors. Many things on the list are not remotely fathomed by the narrator, and thus weaken the list integrity. Having one sin be simply “Tyler Perry” was funny, but most of the questions raised are easily answered or plausibly explained. Other details like lense flare are stylistic choices and a matter of opinion, and some like the differing height of Spock actors, may be amusing but aren’t exactly mistakes, much less “sins.”.

“Honest Trailers” was also kinda funny, but also doesn’t really add up beyond a few broad ideas like similarities between scifi movie tropes. Again the assumptions are false, the premise of the most damning accusations is wobbly at best, and a real trek fan would have understood more of the questions raised. Again, ignorance of the franchise is on display more than scathingly insightful condemnation. No big deal, but it was made by a non fan to trash the absurdity of something I like, so seeing the creator misunderstand things and dismiss them as stupid is a little bit annoying. a few valid complaints and a lot of not really getting it.
