Known for their stubborn attitude and hotheadedness, Taureans aren't always easy to get along with. They may be ambitious and dedicated, but its only good when they have a good cause.

These movie antagonists took all their strong Taurus qualities and turned themselves into some of cinemas most formidable foes for the heroes we root for. Here are the 10 best antagonists with Taurean characteristics.

The Evil Queen - Snow White (1937)

Evil Queen from Snow White raising a hand

Starting off our list is one of the earliest portrayals of a villain in cinematic history, the Evil Queen. As the antagonist to the young and beautiful Snow White, the evil queen wants to be the only source of beauty in the kingdom.

Like any true Taurean, she values beauty and is self-made, taking matters into her own hands when the job can't get done. Add in the fact she was determined enough to kill Snow White just because of her looks.

Ultron - Avengers: Age Of Ultron (2015)

Ultron was made famous as the antagonist in Avengers: Age of Ultron and left much to be desired as he didn't get past the movie. Although he was made artificially, Ultron had the determination and patience to carry out his plan and taking down earth's mightiest heroes while maintaining a level headed and well-spoken attitude.

He made himself a threat out of sheer will and refused to take no for an answer, even if that meant having the whole world against him.

Magneto - X-Men Universe

Michael Fassbender

It can be argued that Magneto is sort of an anti-hero due to his occasional team-ups with Charles Xavier and the rest of the X-men, but we know he's much more complex than that.

Magneto is set in his ideals, that mutants should be the rulers of the world and the humans should be the ones on hiding and it's often the reason he clashes with our heroes. He doesn't let things go easy which is why he has such a hatred for humans.

Darth Vader - Star Wars Saga

Arguably one of the best villains in cinematic history, Darth Vader needs no introduction. As the main villain in the original Star Wars trilogy, Vader showed he was a force to be reckoned with his headstrong determination and short temper.

Ivan Vanko waited decades to carry out his revenge plan against Tony Stark, ensuring its effectiveness. H was steps ahead at all times and never lost confidence in his plan, even when it seemed like Tony had gotten the upper hand.

Vanko was arrogant, stubborn, and naive, which is what led to his downfall. If he had used his powers for good, he could've made a good Avenger.

Poison Ivy - Batman & Robin (1997)

Uma Thurman as Poison Ivy in Batman and Robin

Poison Ivy is one of Batman's most well-known villains, although like Magneto, is more of an anti-hero these days. In her first and only live-action appearance in Batman & Robin, Uma Thurman took Ivy right from the pages and brought out her most villainous characteristics.

Ivy is cunning, a bit arrogant, and convinced that she's saving the planet although she shows little regard for human life. As the zodiac of beauty, Poison Ivy knows how to flaunt what she got.

Hanibal Lecter - The Silence Of The Lambs (1991)

Jennifer is technically the protagonist of her movie but she is pretty evil so she's also the antagonist. Taureans value beauty and as a drop-dead gorgeous demon who kills her victims.

She's a little bossy and manipulative, but she's consistent with her methods because of how well they work.

Imhotep - The Mummy & The Mummy 2

The Mummy (2017) reboot synopsis

Imhotep is the undead mummy that gives our bada** protagonist a lot of trouble. As a villain, he's patient, calculated and he values having power and being on top.

He's also in a 2 thousand year committed relationship with his beautiful Egyptian queen so we know he's loyal. The only thing that kills Imhotep is his arrogance and thirst for power.

Voldemort - Harry Potter Trilogy

Rounding off the list is another iconic movie villain that needs no introduction. We guess it's safe to say that Tauruses are naturally evil? Voldemort or Tom Riddle came up with a plan to be the greatest wizard ever and did not stop, even after he was almost killed by an infant.

Voldemort likes getting his hands dirty and loves to do things his own way, even if that includes killing innocent people just to keep a piece of your soul safe.
