Compared to the movies lsted, I really think the Dark Knight has a shot of winning this award. The music played at the perfect moments that would send chills down your back. I never watch the awards so ill wait to hear about it on the internet. Why break tradition?

In lieu of any kind of commentary track, I marveled today at work while hacking away at (insert obscure computer company bs) at the diversity of this soundtrack. It’s great to see the general “tone” of the base theme grow, and morph just as the characters of every kind do in the movie both from the last movie and over the course of this film. Please notice the INCREDIBLE detail and add-ins during the prelude to the hospital explosion during the interrogation, the sound design inside of the Tumbler’s destruction, the altered Harvey Dent Theme that becomes 2Face’s theme. It would TRULY be a sin that would earn someone the marred side of the coin were it NOT included in the Oscar running.

I know he was already used in The Gotham Knight Anime, but i think they should bring back Deadshot, that was by far my favorite of all the GK clips. I really think they should consider creating a new villian to add the mix.

I can’t help but think this is an attempt to get more people to watch the Academy Awards… I always do, but I think it’s working.

No official word yet… we cover it pretty closely! The reason we’re not hearing anything is probably because there’s nothing to report.

I like Hush for the next chapter too, but who knows what Nolan and Co. are thinking.

Any word on Dark Knight 3. The blank slate of news is killing me left and right. I feel 3 could work. I was thinking about Anarchy or Hush as the villain. There are a lot of characters out there besides Joker to use in a Batman film.

Well, now that it’s back in the running, this is another solid win for “The Dark Knight” Oscar night (the other being the obvious win for Ledger).

I really hope it’s a sweep for TDK. If it wins Best Picture, I think I’ll have a heart attack and/or faint.
