I love it!! I’m INCREDIBLY (sorry,guys) glad that he doesn’t get any bigger than that in the film.

I can’t wait to see the trailer for this…from the review of it I read it’ll be great!

One thing that always kinda bugged me tho…I never liked the Hulk looking like a big,muscley,body building type guy. I’ve always prefered his more massy,bulky look from the Jack Kirby days,where he looked more like a monster. But overall,I’m every pleased with the new take on Hulk.

Now Abomination on the other hand…not so much. I like the comix style look much better.

I WAS 9 WHEN I FIRST SAW HULK IN COMIC FORM AND WAS A FAN RIGHT AWAY,THAT WAS 1974. WHILE DC COMICS WERE GETTING SUPERMAN THE MOVIE I HAD WAS WATCHING HULK ON THE TV SHOW AND YOU KNOW,THE TV SHOW DONE SO MUCH WITH NOT A LOT AND MADE THE HULK A GLOBAL ICON.
IF THIS NEW MOVIE TAKES SOME OF THE CLASSIC HULK COMIC BITS AND BLENDS IT WITH THE BEST TV BITS IT’L WORK!
WE MUST NEVER FORGET BILL BIXBY AS WELL AS BIG LOU FOR THEIR INPUT.

Vic-Now what movie could you possibly have in mind when you mention overmarketing and unrealistic expectations?

Backlash-Great take on the meeting of comic-Hulk and Ferrigno-Hulk (yawn).

I liked Ang Lee’s rendition the Hulk. I enjoyed the comic book-esque storytelling.

When a movie can capture my imagined version of a superhero, and go beyond it–it’s a great feat.

I was happy with the displays of Hulk power! We actually got a lot of “hero” screen time. No silly love stories (ahem.) I loved the Hulk-leaps, the Hulk in city, Hulk vs. military. The gamma dogs were dopey, but at least they were living creatures and it was a vicious scene. The underground base was cool.

I got a feel for Hulk’s strength, weight, and rage. I actually didn’t mind the core of the emotional backstory–the concept of repressed anger and Banner’s admission that he “liked” letting go.

But the stuff I didn’t like, I REALLY hated: The 100% adapted origin, the father aspect, and most of all, the vague psychedelic ending.

DON’T REMIND ME ABOUT GALACTUS, SURMA DOESN’T LIKE IT WHEN GALACTUS IS A SANDSTORM.

On to other things, I absolutely love the way they are going with the hulk.

I anticipate this movie rivaling in quality with Iron Man and The Dark Knight no joke. I mean I don’t think it will make near the same at the box office, but to how good each respected movie is I see this being gold.

The thing im happiest about is them leaving out the ever so comic popular, of making the Hulk’s hair like a patch on the top of his head rather than a full head of hair.

No Crap!! Where is the marketing for this movie!? You’d think Ed Norton would be pissed that outside of comic book peeps, nobody knows this thing is even being made. I have been wondering about this for along time. But if the Abomination is going to look like that stupid toy, maybe they know they have a turd that they just can’t shine….

This Hulk is perfect. The 2003 Hulk used the design from the comics, which was a bad move. Being a 2D character…the comic Hulk is massive with ridiculous proportions, and super green skin. Work well in the comics…looks like crap in live action.

This Hulk is a nice blend between the comics Hulk and the Lou Ferrigno Hulk. His skin is a more subdued green, which helps quite a bit, Although his hands and feet are very large, they are not ridiculously proportioned.

This Hulk bridges the gap between believability and science fiction. He’s not just an overgrown human with painted green skin and a bad wig (aka the Ferrigno Hulk)…nor is he the outlandish version we saw in 2003 (aka the comic Hulk.)

Nice work by the designers of this thing…

Graham, you could be right. It’s a fine line to walk between under-marketing and hoping word of mouth makes a film do well and over-marketing until people’s expectations get so high they can’t be met.

YES I LIKE THE LOOK OF HULK HERE.
THE LACK OF PROPER IMAGES AND TRAILER MAKES ME THINK BACK TO LAST YEAR WHEN SPIDER-MAN 3 WASN’T GIVING MUCH AWAY ON VENOM OR FF2 NOT SAYING MUCH ABOUT GALCTUS.
LETS BE HOPEFUL THAT THEY WONT LET US DOWN AGAIN THIS TIME.
MABEY THE LACK OF HYPE WILL BE IT’S SECRET WEAPON AND THEY’RE GOING TO DELEVER A CRACKEROF A MOVIE

Yeah guys, the more I think about it, this IS the Hulk. Bana-Hulk didn’t look right. They should’ve altered the face a bit. Then again, Edward Norton has a straighter face than Bana. And ears that don’t poke out like car doors…(sorry, Bana!).
