We're now only two short weeks away from the premiere of Thor: Ragnarok, the highly anticipated return of Marvel's  Asgardian prince to the big screen. The film looks to be one of the most distinct MCU efforts to date, featuring a team-up for the ages, a terrifying new evil, and a tone that should set Thor's third solo movie apart from the pack. While director Taika Waititi's take on the God of Thunder may be filled to the brim with lighthearted fun and adventure, the eye-popping action overlays a threat unlike anything Thor has faced before: the Goddess of Death herself, Hela. Amidst the destruction of Asgard and at least one other seemingly insurmountable force, it's clear that we've never seen a Thor quite like this before.

In that spirit, we've scoured the internet in search of the boldest takes on the Thunder God that we could find -- the fan artists who sought to bring the character to life themselves in ways we've never seen before. As we anxiously count the days until Ragnarok debuts in theaters, take a minute to look over all the fantastic pieces of fan art we've collected. You may just come to see Thor in a whole new light.
