Chastain has not had an easy season thanks to the chef, Kevin Dobson, and bosun, Ashton Pienaar. Dobson and Chastain butted heads from the beginning of the yachting season, fans can't forget with Chastain threw the chef under the bus on a night when he was asked to make a penis cake. Spoiler, the Captain was also dining with the guests. The incident left Dobson embarrassed and hell-bent on repaying the favor to the chief stew.

While the queen of the sea said she would be stepping back from her Below Deck family she thanked her fans and the Bravo family for giving her a chance to show what she loved to do. Chastain first joined the show during the start of season 2 and was the chief stew for six seasons. She was known for her posh, yet outspoken attitude and great hair days. The Bravo personality is also the second longest-running crew member next to the Captain. Fans of the popular show will miss her one-liners as well as her one of a kind fashion choices. As Chastain sails away from viewers' hearts, they wish her only success in her future endeavors, Bon Voyage, Kate!
