I saw this on demand a while back, it ended up on a short run and I just happened to catch it one night. A friend and I were hanging out and had nothing else to watch, so we landed on this movie and were absolutely surprised by how good it turned out to be. The synopsis had left me rather wary as to how well they would execute it, especially since I'd never even heard of it, but the mix of mock/straight horror was funny, inventive and outright genius. Leslie was a smart, witty and scary character, like a sarcastic Dr. Lector, but Angela's part too was extremely believable and I was never sure who to root for. I'll definitely be adding this to my DVD collection and I recommend everyone give it a chance. Looking forward to what comes next.

I have had this film on my shelf for a while but had not got around to watching it until now. I love the idea of watching horror films, but nine times out of ten I am disappointed by poor acting and weak plots, this film was a complete surprise showed potential from the start and just got better and better, I can honestly say, I thought this film was absolutely brilliant, great performances from all the actors and a totally original script which left me googling the film to try and find out why I had never heard of it. I just hope that their will be a sequel, Five stars

Not seen this but certainly something I'd want to check out.

I disagree that about those movies being mockumentaries though. Nothing Michael Moore does is ever funny. ;)
