Conversely, currently dominating the box office is Beauty and the Beast, Disney's live-action remake of its classic 1991 animated film of the same name. While this new take on Beauty isn't quite as beloved as the original, reviews for the most part have still been quite kind, and audiences have wasted little time in turning the remake into a box office smash. Despite only having been in theaters for a single week, Beauty (2017) has already hauled in a gargantuan $461 million worldwide on a budget of $160 million.
Deadpool and Beauty and the Beast. They're certainly two great tastes, but would they taste great together? That's exactly what a new fan-made parody video sought to find out, combining Deadpool's fourth wall breaking hilarity with the musical hijinks of Disney's romantic fantasy. The end result is an uproarious send-up of Gaston's song from Beauty, forever famous for variations of the phrase "No one _ like Gaston." Since this is Deadpool though, there's a lot more murder and swearing than in the Disney version. Check the full video about above.
The above parody comes courtesy of the YouTube account Deadpool Said, and features a voice actor that sounds so similar to Reynolds that he's likely to fool quite a few people at first listen. Also making appearances in the video are the trio of Black Widow, Psylocke, and Rogue, who Deadpool alternately hits on and seeks help from, as a bar full of bruisers attempts to take him out.
Similarly to most superhero films, the Deadpool/Gaston parody also includes a post-credits scene, so viewers are advised not to click out of the video once the credits roll. Those who stick around will be treated to an amusing cameo from Wolverine himself, who engages in a fun back and forth with Deadpool, with the latter seemingly oddly aroused by the former's signature claws.
