That right there is the last thing we saw at the end of season 4.0. A wrecked planet we PRESUME to be Earth.
As things currently stand, some Cylons believe they are the children of humanity. That would make humans their parents. Other Cylons believe that parents have to die because it’s the only way children come into their own.
And that’s how we’re looking at the upcoming season of Battlestar Galactica 4.5.

I’m tired of waiting, but we only have a little bit longer to go and an online teaser has been put out there – and they’ve even titled it! It’s called Epic Journey. (I think they might be referring to the viewers who have had to wait so dang long.)
January 2009 is going to be one heck of a month for many shows that started taking their mid-season breaks earlier this year. Most shows are taking a few months off… while Sci Fi Channel has set some kind of record somewhere for the longest break ever.
If all the hype about BSG is as we suspect it to be, we’ll be in for a treat. If not, NBC affiliate The Sci Fi Channel is going to suffer one of the biggest public lashings we’re ever going to see a network take. I had tried interviewing a Centurion at Comic-Con San Diego, but he was mum about the whole deal… even though I suspect that the Centurions are still waiting to play a trump card.
In the promo, we see President Laura Roslin (Mary McDonnell) asking Admiral William Adama (Edward James Olmos): “If you’re a Cylon, I’d like to know.” Adama replies, “If I’m a Cylon, you’re really screwed.”
If Sci Fi hands us a dud come January, they’re really screwed!
In the meantime, Sci Fi has released an online teaser trailer to keep us fluttering about with anticipation. Keeping the bait fresh I guess.
Of all the moments in the teaser, the first half of the teaser is a set of previous scenes – the rest are presumably scenes from next year. The trailer ends with Roslin yelling angrily that “I’m coming for all of you!”, her voice echoing throughout the area she’s in – and that scene is an attention getter for me.

I think the last cylon is those woman, priest, black skin, and blue/violet dress maybe, perhaps those one died in Cobol -do you know who she was?; I’m not sure about its description…-.

Serious!!?? Ah man! So They’re duping us yet again? Grr.
I for one can’t wait. I listened to the podcast for the last 2 episodes of 4.0, and they are meant to be a running commentary when you watch the show (sorta like a DVD commentary). The part I remember most clearly is one of the creators (I can’t remember which one) silently begging the audience at the test screen to not get too excited because “…hey, it’s _us_” Meaning ‘there goes the rug under your feet’.
Regardless of how it ends (and I can’t see it ending badly with how well it’s gone), it will have been one hell of a good ride!
Ha, I saw a smidgen of a scene I’ve been wondering about for 6 months now. I might be totally wrong, but we’ll see, and when It’s all said and done I’ll post the link that all of you have missed..

Not fair old man… we’ve been sharing as we discover!!
I tried to leave a trail of breadcrumbs, but you hoot owls won’t follow it. What’s a professor to do?? Oh my, I’ve had a crisis of confidence, and i’ve just lost the drive to go on. I guess I’ll continue to snooze and see if I’m right about … this and that. It won’t matter then, but I’ll know, I’ll know.

Oh Lordy no. That’s exactly what I was thinking they were going for. It worked in the last episode of The Prisoner. But depending on how they do it expect outrage and the feeling of betrayal on the level of the last episode of Neon Genesis Evangelion.
