It STARTS out before the attack, then, from what I can determine, deals with the ‘Cylons’ dealing with the surviving humans after the attack.

No no no Panda, neither one. Ron is waving to the crowd when I took that picture and it just came out that the hand motion blurred more than the rest of the motion in the projected image on the big screen.

I’m confused (which maybe my own fault)… so does the prequel take place before or after the attack? Or is the “dealing with human survivors” mean the survivors’ history before the attack?

Either way sounds cool.

James Purefoy is awesome and he was so incredible in Rome. I’m psyched for that.

I completely understand the series ending for story purposes, I would of liked to see more in the middle of the series, maybe some more combat oriented stuff or some more exploration/discovery. I think there could of been one more season in the middle somewhere.

I guess they want to end it early and not do the JJ Abrams thing where they keep starting new projects TV shows and movies before the previous ones complete (a la alias with lost, lost with Fringe)

@Bruce…Moore (and Eick) are both so busy now as producers, that if this is the end for BSG, we’ll have plenty more to see from them. I personally am pretty excited about Caprica and Virtuality, and hope their pilots get to series…

Meanwhile, Moore has a sci-fi film trilogy to write…Eick is working a new series with ROME’s James Purefoy and is attempting to turn CHILDREN OF MEN into a series.

Yep ProgGrrl, on all counts.

Moore and Eick didn’t want to drag it out, and end it on a high note. Very smart.. it also doesn’t hurt that Moore has so many contracts going on with different places to produce various shows.

It’s amazing that no matter how bad something is handled, (cough, sci-fi, cough) if it’s good enough, it will build it’s own momentum regardless, and I am glad for that, in this respect!

@790: actually, it was Moore & Eick, the show’s producers, who decided to end the show at season 4. Sci Fi is always saying they didn’t want to stop. They’re obviously hungry to figure out ways to extend the franchise after 4.5 has aired next year.

I’m betting that we see more of Pegasis and her deal that took place in Razor,,, this is gonna be fun,,,
Sci-Fi channel have only themselves to blame on why this show is wrapping…
Yeah the shows a success and that’s a wrap, seems kinda stupid in fanancial terms at least.
