Wonder Woman Movie Costume Discussion What to Expect From Batman V Supermans Wonder Woman & Man of Steel Costumes

A superhero costume doesn’t necessarily make or break a blockbuster movie, but that doesn’t mean it can’t turn fans away – or even win skeptics over to the filmmakers’ side. That’s clearly what the minds behind Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice are counting on, having recently revealed the brand new Batsuit years ahead of the film’s opening. But when it comes to the costume conceived to bring Wonder Woman to the big screen, the stakes are even higher.

There was never a question that Batman was a potent enough brand to bring audiences to theaters – even if Ben Affleck’s casting earned mixed reactions – so the decision to bring his comic book look to life more faithfully than in previous films was never a make-or-break proposition. Yet, when it comes to the princess of the Amazons, the feat isn’t so easy. But we think we have a sense of what fans should expect to see; both from Wonder Woman’s duds, and the apparent “tweaks” to Superman’s suit, as well. NONE OF THIS CONFIRMED, it’s just our prediction based on what we know at this point. Take it or leave it.

The Wonder Woman Costume

It seems like just yesterday that fans were debating whether we would see Wonder Woman in the Man of Steel sequel (although Warner Bros. apparently doesn’t view it as a such anymore), but now the facts are undisputed: Wonder Woman will appear in BVS:DOJ and beyond, and has been given a costume that the filmmakers deem “relevant for today’s audiences.” In other words: if it wasn’t clear already, short-shorts and a tube top aren’t what we’re likely to see.

Thor: The Dark World actress Jaimie Alexander (herself a former fan-favorite and rumored contender for the role of Wonder Woman) said it best when explaining that for the women – and hopefully, men – of the comic book world, interesting female superheroes have more to offer than their physique.

Her character in Marvel’s films is a prime example, as ‘Lady Sif’ managed to be portrayed onscreen covered from neck to knees without sacrificing any of her significance. It’s true that some will never be pleased unless DC Comics’ most iconic heroine appeared alongside Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck almost spilling out of her top, but Zack Snyder has shown enough for us to know that’s likely not what we’ll be getting.

Another damning piece of evidence came a year ago, when a Wonder Woman short film brought the heroine to life with her original costume mostly intact; it was plain to see that a faithful translation to live-action was a recipe for disaster. We noted then that the best course of action for Warner Bros. would be to take a closer look at some alternative, updated designs from the past decade – be it in comics, or elsewhere (such as the Injustice video game design).

It’s safe to say that even devoted fans would be willing to concede that granting Diana actual leather bracers (as opposed to bullet-deflecting metal bracelets) fits well with the Amazonian mythology expected to shape her backstory – now that we know the Kryptonian origin story was just a rumor. But the easy decisions stop there.

It doesn’t take more than a passing glance to realize that while the swimsuit bottoms and corset may have flown just fine fifty years ago, the same just isn’t true now. Within the pages of the comic books, Wonder Woman may still be portrayed with plenty of skin, but the public image of the character has drastically changed. For example, observe the images below, taken from the Injustice: Gods Among Us video game, DC’s New 52 relaunch promotional artwork, and the most recent animated feature, Justice League War.

Wonder Woman Costume Updates What to Expect From Batman V Supermans Wonder Woman & Man of Steel Costumes

It’s true that comic book enthusiasts have had half a century to realize that skimpy outfits are par for the course in regards to comic book women, but to market their products to non-traditional (read: mainstream) consumers, Warner Bros. and DC seem to have realized that a half-naked Wonder Woman is no longer a suitable treatment.

In the case of animated features, the decision to clothe Diana is an obvious one (after all, Warner Bros. wants to sell Wonder Woman Halloween costumes to young girls without shocking their parents). But there’s no such obvious explanation for why a violent video game featured a Wonder Woman dressing conservatively, compared to the ‘classic’ costume.

The decision to put Diana in pants – and then return to the bare legs of old – caused some controversy at DC (that is a discussion for another day); but one fact is clear: the publisher is making efforts to get fans focusing on Diana’s character, not the amount of skin her costume reveals.

Wonder Woman Costumes New vs Classic What to Expect From Batman V Supermans Wonder Woman & Man of Steel Costumes

In the case of the Justice League: War re-design of the character, the subtext seems to be a desire to give Wonder Woman a suit more similar to the likes of Superman’s Kryptonian garb and Batman’s technical outfit. If Zack Snyder simply adopted the bare-armed uniform into the same world of mysterious fabrics that seem to be used for both the new Man of Steel and older Dark Knight, Batman V Superman would be sporting three designs that are as cohesive on their own as they would be existing in a single universe (and the pants would cease to be an issue).

Of course, Diana’s backstory must enter into the equation at some point, and as much as fans have already debated the film’s likelihood of success, absolutely nothing is known about the origin story David S. Goyer, Christopher Nolan and Zack Snyder have crafted for her. Some artistic liberties are to be expected, but if the classical mythology, architecture, and dress of the Amazons are going to be preserved, then it would seem leather and bronze are more likely than space-age fabrics.

Luckily, not all fan-films help to highlight the problems with adapting a character like Wonder Woman. Yet another film which made the rounds featured a version of Diana seemingly pulled from the surreal Greece of Zack Snyder’s 300. And if Snyder does choose to embrace ancient armor, he’s got plenty of designs to choose from.

Although the Batsuit crafted for Dawn of Justice is clearly the most faithful live-action adaptation of the comic book costume to date, it seems inevitable that Wonder Woman’s outfit will have to be re-imagined on some level. But as mentioned before, a more accurate prediction won’t be possible until some part of her character’s backstory is at least hinted at.

The New Superman Costume

What to Expect From Batman V Supermans Wonder Woman & Man of Steel Costumes

As for Superman, the admission that Henry Cavill’s suit will be “tweaked” for the upcoming sequel took many by surprise. While the film’s critics saw the statement as a sign that Snyder would give up the darker, more subdued and alien design of the Kryptonian underclothes, we’re not so easily convinced. Some small improvements in costume are the norm for superhero sequels, and if Kal-El is going to be sharing screen time with both Wonder Woman and Batman (and Cyborg in the coming years), it’s just as likely that the suit’s CG cape has been ruled obsolete.

Of course, there is also the possibility that the changes to the Super-suit bear a deeper significance than on-set logistics. Few comic book stories influenced Man of Steel‘s updating more than Mark Waid and Leinil Yu’s “Superman Birthright,” even adopting its idea of the signature ‘S’ embodying hope for all of Krypton. And in Waid’s origin story, the superhero’s costume was no accident, either.

The decision to wear bright colors and a cape means subtlety is not the goal, and for “Birthright”s Kal-El, that was the entire point. As Waid put it, the main problem for Clark Kent wasn’t keeping his powers a secret, but how terrified people would become once he revealed them. How could the public trust him if they came to realize he had been hiding among them, hearing their whispers, and seeing through them – literally?

Man of Steel Henry Cavill in Suit What to Expect From Batman V Supermans Wonder Woman & Man of Steel Costumes

There was only one real solution, and that was to sport a suit that screamed anything but secrecy; with a caped suit of red, blue, and yellow, nobody could ever accuse him of trying to stay hidden. Since Kal-El managed to save the entire human race (at the cost of a city) in Man of Steel, that might not be as much of an issue in Snyder’s movie universe. However, Batman has been rumored to wear multiple suits in Dawn of Justice, so it’s possible Superman could sport a bright, bolder look by the film’s conclusion. Strange images of a new Superman suit/mold/statue are already appearing online, so Snyder’s plans are clearly still a mystery.

More and more rumors are sure to surface over the coming months, but if the Ben Affleck Batsuit has taught us anything, it’s that reports of comic book influences and hints are easier to make than some might assume. At one time, the costume from “Batman: Noel” was said to be a touchstone for the new costume; now that the suit has been revealed, it seems that the “Elseworlds” version of the suit is as recognizable in the design as just about any other – with Frank Miller’s “Dark Knight Returns” the biggest influence, as stated.

Just how close our predictions end up keeping to the actual re-designs, well… we’ll just have to wait and see.

  1. Wonder Woman must have her dumpster going nuts, her sewer line must be impeccable! so sayeth Lord Slug !

    • “The sh*tter was full!” (–Cousin Eddie in “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation”).

  2. hope they go with gods among justice costume that one is cool

  3. I’d like an ancient greek style suit for WW. A red leather halterneck so we still get bare cleavage, shoulders and back with a leather (That way it will sustain all the action without looking stupid, ill-fitting etc..) Greek/Roman style tunic with silver star studs etc… A Golden tiara that isn’t too plain (just a little embossed detail) instead of just the star and Silver /leather Gladiator cuffs.

  4. I have a feeling it’s going to be a mix of WW from the Odyssey look mixed with the new 52 look. Maybe the 52 top with the Odyssey bottoms or something to that nature. The Superman costume really has me wondering though as to what they are doing.

  5. I’d like to see some pant on WW. The costume from New 52 when she first appears in JL was the best. I like simplicity.

For Superman they just need to go New 52 route as well and add red strap to break blue. Also getting rid off all this crap on his hands and sides would gain some pluses from me.

    • Yeah I wasn’t really a fan of the wavey designs on his sides and wrists either. I get that it was Kryptonian clothing and not actually a “uniform” in the traditional sense, but I’d like to see that changed. I’d also like a red belt for him. Maybe in this movie Mamma Kent will make him one that’s more “human.”

    • If it were someone looking like Lynda Carter or Jamie Alexander, you would see me “pant”, alright! Va-va-va-voom, “Wotta Woman”!!

  6. Wow an article that talks more about Superman % Wonder Woman rather than Batman?? This is heresy!!!

I think it’s a shame that they will not try and get as close as possible original look I honestly think that’s one of the biggest reasons why we haven’t seen Wonder Woman on the big screen yet. Ridiculous but also true.

Gina could’ve pulled off the original look for sure, but of course there’s no way Gal could ever try so yes expect lots of padding and maybe some armour as well.

I would like Superman’s costume to be brightened up a bit with more yellow in the chest emblem for sure. Other than that it doesn’t really need much tweaking.

  7. So this is somewhat out of place but seeing how we are talking about DC this is what I hope they do in this shared universe. Seeing how batman is supposed to be older, I’d like to see him get his own movie after JL. And in that movie they introduce to us nightwing. Show that he is very much like batman but raw and perhaps more willing to kill? Then in JL 2 I’d like them to throw a curve ball at us and kill of batman, leaving nightwing to take up the cowl and take his place. That way we still get to see a grizzly batman and then a younger batman. Just a thought though. And this has nothing to do with not liking affleck I personally think he is a good choice.

    • Introduce Nightwing in the Batman reboot? Kill off Batman? Have Dick Grayson be as Batman and be more willing to kill? All that sounds ridiculous. Especially the last one.

      • the bat family would be nice to explore

        • Exactly. Seeing how this is a batman who has been at it for awhile it would make sense if he’s had multiple sidekicks. It could also serve as a reason as to why he was starting to retire because one of them had died

    • I agree that I would like to see Batman get his own movie and introduce Nightwing, but I don’t think he should be killed off. He’s apart of the Trinity and one of the founding members of the Justice League. Plus that would cause the most extreme controversy in the DCCU. BTW, I don’t think Nolan killed Batman off in TDKR. Cause you know the evidence at the end…

      • I agree I don’t think they killed him either. And although they need to introduce nightwing, if not kill batman then maybe introduce batman beyond??? Or just stick with batman the whole way threw lol I’m fine if they do just thought it would be fun to come up with ideas to replace batman if his character gets too old in the story or if affleck drops out after a few movies

        • If we’re going to introduce a Batman that’s willing to kill, it’s definitely not going to be Grayson, who’s probably just as much a boyscout as Superman. It’d make more sense for you to bring in Jason Todd for that role, but then you’d be introducing Red Hood and not Nightwing, which I am fine with, because I don’t even like Grayson that much. He’s pretty much tied with Damien for my least favorite Robin.

Honestly, Batmans’ movie could probably be a rendition of Battle for the Cowl, at his age. Nightwing vs. Red Hood vs. Red Robin…I think a good way to go about that, is with a viral campaign featuring an introduction and having each character stating their case for why they should be the next Batman, with them doing the voiceovers for said case.

It would sound like they’re all having an argument, but the entire fifteen minute-movie is a display of their skill and qualification. Could even go viral with hashtags for twitter to get fans involved and maybe help influence the course of the movie.

          • I can see that. To be honest I’ve never been well educated on nightwings character I just liked the way he looked. But I am a fan of red hood so it would be cool to see him on screen

        • Introduce Nightwing and have him be kind of on his “I need my own stomping grounds” thing and make small references to how Affleck is back out of retirement after the depression of losing his second Robin. Leave it at that for the rest of the film and MAYBE throw in an image of a man who appears to be wearing a red mask at the end.

Next film, Nightwing returns to lend an assist while we twist the Under the Red Hood storyline as necessary, but instead of holding the Joker hostage, hold Nightwing hostage and be all, “Pick which one of us means more to you!” And Batman is all, “But I don’t waaanaaa!!!!”

That’d be cool. And in regards to the new Batman to replace Wayne thing, I’d love to see a rendition of Knightfall crossed over with (the sh*tty) Death of Batman storyline and have Azrael and Nightwing attempt to fill in and foreshadow Bats’ replacement because they’re not killing Batman too soon. He could be a mentor though.

          • That’s a pretty good unique story and twist to the original plot. I’m starting to think that all of us in this subtopic should be task with righting the script because some good ideas are coming up here

    • The Batman we’ll meet will be from the future – that way they can kill him off (now or later), he can give a lot of info to younger Bruce Wayne, which will make the fledgling Bat a force to be reckoned with in the Big League. (Batman needs intel to be able to plan/strategize. Impossible in this cinematic universe unless he gets it from a trusted source (himself) from a time when a lot of things have happened, and probably ended badly..

      • That’s actually kind of a cool idea but I don’t see them doing that this early on especially right after xmen just did it

  8. The only reason I click on these stories anymore is to read about how crap Snyder and company have come up with new ways to ruin the film before it’s even released. To tell the truth the first one wasn’t all that great either. Mostly due to superman’s back story flash backs as a young Clark Kent. It’s not that I didn’t like the back story being in the movie. It was just that the scenes were too long and drawn out. And came at irrelevant places in the movie. But I would also like to ask the the author of this story a question. How much is Zack Snyder and Warner brothers paying you to promote this movie and coax readers into thinking everything the studio has been the right decision. It doesn’t take a genius to figure out that you’re rationalizing and justifying every bit of news that’s released. It’s one thing to say, look I don’t agree with every single decision the studio is making. But who knows, it might all work out well. And another thing to go to great lengths to explain why you think all of these so called adjustments and casting decisions have made perfect sense. Saying that wonder woman as created long ago wouldn’t fit well with today’s audiences. Well guess what?! That’s probably because none of those people have or ever would read a comic book. So why even make a movie. At all about these characters? Do you know who these people are that this production is trying reach and sell tickets too? Well I’ll tell you, I saw Xmen days of future past opening weekend. And as expected after the audience left during the credits. Knowing Damn well that marvel adds cut scenes to the end of their movies. But those people didn’t care. They were there just because it was something to do. And the other half of the audience that stayed behind for the post credits scenes could be heard making these comments, I wonder what that means, or that was it? What the hell. I only heard two people say, that was cool! I can’t wait for x men apocalypse. And someone heard the guy say that and he asked what it meant. And he told him that he was the first mutant. And the other dumbass was like oh!… Well I say, screw those idiots! If your not a fan of comics. Don’t go see comic book movies. And if dc is going to half ass their own properties. Then why bother. As far as I’m concern the original work of the books infallible. Nothing should be changed. Not a single God Damn thing. I’m not going to see this movie. Because as far as I’m concerned, it’s not comic book movie. It’s just a generic imitation of one

    • THANK YOU!

  9. Wonder Woman had better end up in maternity wear or a burqa. Because to do otherwise would be unnecessarily sexualizing her and pandering to fanboys who don’t have girlfriends. Right, Goyer? Right?

  10. I loved Superman’s costume in MOS. If anything at all needs to be changed, then I’d like the colours to be brighter and maybe a more pronounced belt/torso/leg seperation.

  11. As long as Wonder Woman’s costume is some kind of red top, blue bottoms, some gold, and bracelets with which she can deflect bullets I’ll be fine with it. Any of the costumes pictured in this article work for me as will any kind of gladiator or Centurion type of costume. Pants, shorts, bikini bottoms, whatever. I’m much more concerned about Gadot being able to portray a woman who can give Superman a good fight and also throw a one liner at Batman and leave him speechless. Wonder Woman’s doesn’t come from her costume or breast size, it comes from her having a personality like lion and the fighting skills to match.

    • I’m sorry to burst bubbles and i hope ppl dont freak out. But wonder woman is basically a superman/captain america themed badass female counterpart. Shes not human and was often thougt of as supermans female version. Alien or not they bith were known to be aesthucally themed to be usa red.white.blue all american him frm midwest and she looked like a super hott superhero version of Mary Ann from Gilligans island with Blue eyes. 12. The Alex Ross depiction of Wonder Woman is THE best depiction of Wonder Woman . She has a muscular build for a woman and she’s looks mature

    • I like the Ross art but my favorite pics of WW are the Adam Hughes pieces :P

  13. No matter what you do with Wonder Woman’s costume, it’s hard NOT to make her look like a street walker with an S&M fetish.

    • Yeah, even the costume that has the black leather jacket kinda looks fetishy. I Think they can counter that by showing her in other stuff when she’s out of uniform. Showing her in dresses and casual wear and other normal clothes will counter act any negative image her costume might inadvertantly portray. I’d personally like to her see playing the role of diplomat and wear a traditional toga like outfit for that. I think that’d be really cool.

      • I don’t know. It feels like sometimes, people actively search and reach for reasons to complain about WWs costume. Do we really want to let that kind of crowd dictate how a character should look on screen?

        • There’s always gonna be people who don’t like the costume or the story or the actor or whatever. can’t please everyone. I don’t think this production team is trying to please everyone. I mean, they picked Jessie Eisenberg for Luthor lol. I’m interested to see how he does but that choice certainly wasn’t a crowd pleaser. I don’t think we have to worry about the few people who complain just to complain. I think it’s good to update her costume so she’s not in fast paced action scenes wearing a tube top and panties, but no we don’t have to let anyone specific dictate how a character should look onscreen. As long as they’re faithful to what has come before (in most respects) I’m fine with just about anything.

      • Does anyone else other then myself think that the opened pod in MOS, when Clark first found the ship. Could that have been an easter egg for Wonder Women? IDK why but I have this feeling that her back story will be Kryptonian. If not, then what is everyone’s idea/suggestion for the open pod?

    • I’m more worried she will end up looking like cheap cosplay than a cheap hooker.

  14. Whats up with the caps v in the title???

    • Best explanation I read is that this movie is actually Batman 5, and the name of MOS is going to be changed to “Batman IV: the Arrival of a Friend.”

      • This actually makes total sense. We already know that the trailer will already mention Nolan as producer, and refer to a previous trilogy. In the end, only Bats drives the $$$ for DC movies.

        • Actually that was a funny response I read on the internet, only I didn’t do it “Justice.”

In a discussion about what the “V” meant someone said they were just going to call it “Batman 5 Superman: Dawn of Justice.” To which a comic someone replied, “They’re going to change the name of MOS to ‘Batman IV Superman: The Arrival of a Friend.”

I thought it was hilarious, but maybe you had to be there.

    • The V stands for Voids. :P

  15. JUSTICE LEAGUE MOVIE SCRIPT http://www.scribd.com/doc/226992669/The-Justice-League

    • lol that was awful. John Blake? Seriously?

      • Should I save my time? I was looking forward to reading something new.

        • Whoever wrote it doesn’t speak English as a first language. That’s not really a big deal but there are a lot of errors. Also, if I’m understanding this correctly, made Wonder Woman, Flash, Aquaman, and Cyborg all products of Darkseid’s experiments. John Blake is also Nightwing. It’s good for a laugh. some clever moments.

    • It’s interesting, I’ll read the full thing later. I love fan scripts.

  16. The superman costume does need brighter colors, it was too dark in MOS. I doubt changes will be made to break up the blue little bit.

  17. I just hope the story is solid, the costumes, although important, do not make or break the movie for me, neither does having Batman in the movie even if some people still complain that he is stealing the show.

  18. I almost convinced she is going to expose just the arms and there may be back cleavage. thats all.

If we lucky there may be some tight jeans and if we get extra lucky we´ll have the headband.

  19. Personally, I’ve never been overly impressed with Wonder Womans’ costumes, but as of late with the costume she had in War and getting to see the Odyssey costume (which just screams power to me,) I would love them to go with a mix of these two.

I think using the WAR color scheme and the overall design of the Odyssey outfit would be a great way to go. Leather bracers, I think, don’t really work. I like the idea of them being made of Aegis.

  20. I like the pants she had in the “JL War” movie.

  21. Remember the failed justice league movie from s few years ago with George Miller at the helm, they had Megan Gale cast as WW back then and I have to say, even now she is perfect for the role, I insist you googled her if you don’t know her.

  22. “A superhero costume doesn’t necessarily make or brake a blockbuster movie”

Ever seen 2011′s Green Lantern movie or Clooney’s Batman costume ? (Bat nipples )
    Or Shaquille in ‘Steel’ ?

Their costumes were fugly and corespondingly their movies tanked.

    • Don’t forget Halle Berry’s Catwoman costume or 2008′s the Spirit costume.
      Both movies also flopped.

      • For all the talk, I actually liked the costume HB wore in Catwoman. The movie may not have been good, but I saw nothing all that bad about the costume.

        • Yeah, Catwoman flopped because make-up gave Sharon Stone super powers and Catwoman was turned into a reincarnated Egyptian demi-goddess or some nonsense.

    • I wouldn’t just say they flopped because of the costumes. They failed because they lacked plot. I mean honestly lets examine all the things wrong with those movies.

First one is starring Shaq. A superhero movie with Shaq. You should’ve known what you were getting yourself into.

Lets just look at Catwoman and Bats and Robin

-Catwoman has no ties to Gotham, and her mythos is now she’s a demi-God. WHAT?!
-Batman has a credit card. Why? Who is gonna bill him? Who or where does the charge go to?!
      -Mr.Freeze had a BILLION puns.

I wouldn’t say it’s the costume that makes or breaks a character rather it’s the plot. Like in GL have we figured out who that Indian Nerd was? Like who is he? I don’t read GL but I have never heard of him.

  23. All I know is I’m going to be wearing my WW underwear to see the movie.

  24. Wouldn’t surprise me if they go Wonder Woman’s New52 costume, especially the way Cliff Chiang drew it with the metal WW on the top thick and barely showing any cleavage, and a gladiator skirt.

  25. Forget her costume, they need a real actress to play Wonder Woman. She could be in the classic costume or naked, but either way it won’t matter because she cannot act. Gal Gadot is a very poor choice for WW, very poor indeed.

    • Cuz people don’t grow and always stay on the same level right?

  26. I think she should (like Batman if rumors are true) have more than one outfit.

Like many have stated in the comments I’d love to see a cross between Odyssey and New 52.
This could be the outfit she wears when visiting our world.

When on Themyscira I’d like to see her switch it up and go more ancient armor. Snyder has proven very deft at bringing Ancient Greece to life in an awesome way.

Doing this would be good for a few reasons: You can then have a covered and more skintastic outfit. They can establish the “superheroes don’t just have one outfit” rule for the DCCU immediately, allowing them more creative freedom moving forward with giving fresh looks at established charterers. And, again I hope just like Batman, they actually get to reveal the suit more than once.

  27. Barry Allen’s costume will have a wardrobe malfunction. After all, he is known as “The Flash”!

  28. WOW!! That picture above of WW from Injustice: Gods Among Us the video game looks amazingly–AMAZINGLY– like my hair stylist! The face, the hair, the stance…now I am gonna think of that the next time I sit in her chair!

    • you need to turn in your man card for going to a “hair stylist”

      • Hee-hee, if you had a woman trimming your hair that looks like my hair-stylist, you’d be getting your hair trimmed one follicle at a time and loving it as well! I have had the good fortune over the years to have a series of truly “foxy babes” as “clipper’kitties”, well over half a dozen at least! One gal looked like a torching-hot blonde Asian-American porn star, another once had worked briefly as a pole-dancer on the side. Those don’t look like “Moms Mabley”, y’know. The others ranged from cute as heck to “Danger-high-voltage-wow!” Gals like that do exist out there, you know. As for my hair, I have curly blond hair (hence the nick-name Goldilocks, which another rather attractive gal once tagged me with), but to help it maintain it’s shape a bit, I get a perm about every four or five months. “I look like a God”, one of my buddies once teased me (“God”, not clod…and I think he meant Apollo, not some ugly or wussy deity). So my man-card is just fine, probably says “Snow-tire Stud…that’s heavy-duty!”…and no I am not heavy, actually moderately thin). I have the confidence in myself to sit there with pink and blue curlers in my hair (fear not, I am “straight”, my hair just isn’t!). The rest of you will just have to keep going to regular barbers who are either thrilled Swan-Lakers gleefully running their fingers through your hair, or else poopie-smelling old greasy men who are dribbling their chewing-tobacco on top of your head while they talk about baseball and bore you to death during your chop-job.

    • I’m afraid Jeffro is right.
We are going to need you to turn your card in ASAP or we will be sending out a repo service technician.

  29. Know what Wonder Woman would really look good in?
    My arms!!

    • *facepalm* Cheesy and lame. Please tell me you don’t use that line with real women?

      • Actually, I did once a long time ago, using a rendition of it as a joke to get a “hee-hee” out of a gal, and she said, “I guess you’d better prove it”, threw her arms around me, and gave me a peck on the cheek! Guess that was the only time I did not mind someone trying to give me a pecker! (Uh-oh, that line could go several ways…what I meant was….!!)
