UPDATE: Watch the Official Batman V Superman Comic-Con Trailer!

-

Comic fans and movie enthusiasts have known for some time that Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment would be making a big showing at San Diego Comic-Con 2015, with the studio's main panel expected to offer a new look at Batman V SupermanSuicide Squad, the potential cast of the Justice League, and more. So far, SDCC has brought detailed looks at Batman's armored suit, his wealth of new gadgets, word of a Ben Affleck-directed solo movie, and more.

Now it seems those not present at the convention will be able to join in on the fun, with the second trailer for Dawn of Justice - the first full-length trailer following the initial teaser - rumored to be dropping for all to see not long after its Hall H showing.

It's been assumed that the WB panel would feature some new footage of the Batman/Superman/Wonder Woman action, particularly after the recent release of official images and details. The existence of the trailer was confirmed thanks to its classification by AlbertaFilmRatings with a running time of 2:24.

With Marvel awarding DC plenty of room to drop major announcements during SDCC, it seems the studio has taken full advantage. And while Hall H panels have tended to show insider footage or sizzle reels long ahead of public release, Heroic Hollywood's El Mayimbe has claimed that the trailer will also be shown during Saturday's episode of Conan O'Brien's late night show (filming from San Diego). Presumably, "after the panel" means the trailer will be shown during the afternoon taping of the show, so it's anyone's guess if the trailer will be made available online then, or later when the episode airs that evening.

Batman V Superman Wonder Woman Diana Prince Bruce Wayne

What will surely be among the top demands among fans is a closer look at Wonder Woman. Her late announcement as a core cast member raised many questions, and actress Gal Gadot landing the part raised even more. And with recent comments from the cast members promising a unique relationship between Diana and Bruce Wayne, any footage of the characters interacting should help to clarify just what fans should expect.

The opportunity to win SDCC and get even skeptical fans on board with the budding Justice League universe is there should WB choose to take it, and this trailer roll-out may be a centerpiece of their presentation. As the silence concerning Wonder Woman's character has persisted - despite an impressive costume and claims she'll act as "the gateway drug" to the coming Justice League - doubts have been allowed to persist along with it.

Could a few moments of Wonder Woman in action silence those doubts immediately? It's impossible to tell. But it's a safe bet that DC Comics fans will be tuning to Conan's Saturday night episode just to be safe (with word of a surprise appearance from the cast as well). Hopefully, the trailer will be a bit more accurate than the one shown during Conan's show already:

What are your hopes for the first full-length trailer for Batman V Superman? Are you eager to see more of Clark Kent at The Daily Planet, Bruce Wayne's corporate dealings, or simply costumed action? Sound off in the comments.
