[UPDATE: More set videos are popping up, this time featuring Ben Affleck himself. Scroll to watch.]

Nine Untitled DC comic book movies were given official releases dates by Warner Bros. earlier this week; one of the studio's head executives has already promised that more information on these films (including, most likely, the Justice League movie that Zack Snyder is onboard to direct) will arrive before the month is over. Until then, production on Snyder's Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice keeps chugging along, as evidenced by the latest batch of fan-shot videos from the set (see above, for example).

The Batman V Superman clips that've popped up online over the past week appear to show filming of an action scene that involves Bruce Wayne, as evidenced by the presence of Ben Affleck's stunt double on set (complete with those grey temples that Affleck's world-weary Caped Crusader has in the film). Similarly, the most recent vids for the project show what appears to be a car chase sequence - once again featuring Bruce Wayne in plainclothes - being filmed on the streets of Detroit (go HERE for additional clips).

Batman V Superman will feature, at the least, two super-powered individuals (Henry Cavill's Superman and Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman), in addition to a costumed hero who is without special physical abilities - something that Snyder's Man of Steel didn't have. As such, the action sequences that involve Batman should be fairly grounded (to fit the real-world template established in Man of Steel) - especially if the rumors are true about Affleck's Bats being the quiet and non-showy foil to Cavill's big and brash Supe.

Having said that, Batman V Superman also marks the first time that we'll get to see the Caped Crusader onscreen under the eye of a director who really knows how to choreograph and stage killer fisticuffs and close-up fights. Admittedly, this is one area where Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy tends to be less impressive; those films are better when the action involves large-scale spectacle, not so much up when Batman has to pummel baddies with his fists. That shouldn't be such a problem in Snyder's movie, however.

Jena Malone to appear in Batman V Superman?

In other Batman V Superman-related news, reports are currently making the rounds that Jena Malone (who previously collaborated with Snyder on the film Sucker Punch) will make an appearance in Snyder's new project. The evidence? Well, Malone, who also portrayed scene-stealer Johanna Mason in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire last year and will appear in the upcoming Mockingjay installments, was spotted near the set with Snyder (see the pic below).

Now, assuming that Malone is, in fact, lined up to make an appearance in Batman V Superman, it's probably safe to assume her role will amount to a small one - maybe even a cameo-in-disguise (see: a certain actor who showed up in Guardians of the Galaxy, for a recent example).

Admittedly, the idea of Malone showing up as, say, one of Wonder Woman's fellow Amazonians (or perhaps someone like Lana Lang) sounds pretty cool, but let's not get ahead of ourselves. (Carrie Kelley, who was featured in the fake BvS script, is also a big stretch, even given the film's Dark Knight Returns influence). Perhaps Malone was just grabbing a snack with her old pal Zack.
