It was only a little over eight months ago that Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice existed only as a promise and a picture of Batman looking like he had accidentally run over a kitten with his Batmobile. Since then, fans have gotten a number of trailers to fuel their excitement, including one that maybe revealed just a little too much.

New footage has been sparse since the third trailer introduced audiences to Doomsday, but now some additional glimpses at the movie have arrived in the form of a grainy, 30-second trailer from German television.

The trailer intercuts previous footage of Superman confronting a captive Batman in an underground bunker with footage of Superman confronting the U.S. senate. From there most of the footage is of the title's promised confrontation between the two heroes, with a glimpse of Jeremy Irons as Alfred thrown in for good measure.

The footage is pretty low quality and anyone who does not speak German will have a hard time understanding exactly what is going on, let along not laughing at how silly it sounds in this context, but for those desperate for even the tiniest glimpse of the upcoming movie, it at least offers that. As an added bonus, it is unlikely to provide any spoilers. One thing it does offer is Jesse Eisenberg's Lex Luthor referring to Batman as "die fledermaus," which is German for "the bat" but also a delightful-though-unintentional throwback to The Tick for fans of that show.
