Warning: includes a preview for Batman #115!

In Batman #115, Poison Ivy is teaming up with Batman to take on Gotham's Future State villain Simon Saint. Batman's current fight for Gotham is arguably one of the toughest he's had yet and it seems the city is heading toward the dystopic future seen in Future State, where Gotham was ruled with the authoritarian Magistrate controlling absolutely everything in the city. The events of Batman's upcoming comics will see him trying to prevent Saint's forces from gaining even more control over the city.

While Batman has been fighting Saint, Scarecrow, and Peacekeeper-01, Poison Ivy has undergone a huge change. Ivy is officially supposedly done with her villainous ways. This revelation came as Poison Ivy announced she will now simply be going by Ivy, losing the "Poison" in her nickname. Additionally, Poison Ivy's ex-girlfriend, the Gardener, made her debut in Batman #109. It seems that the two of them will be reuniting in this issue, as teased by DC.

DC Comics has released the solicitation and cover art for Batman #115 by James Tynion IV and Jorge Jimenez. Ivy is featured with the Gardener on one of the covers and it seems that after they reunite, the pair will be teaming up to assist Batman. As they care for the city that they live in, Ivy and the Gardener will have a vested interest in stopping Saint. Poison Ivy turning good couldn't have happened at a better time. Batman will need as much help as he can get, especially since Saint now has him in his crosshairs.

  • Batman and Miracle Molly are all that stands between Gotham City and absolute insanity! But an unhinged Simon Saint brings all the resources of the Magistrate to bear on the Dark Knight…is victory at hand for the Scarecrow?
  • Back-Up: Batgirls Cassandra Cain and Stephanie Brown have each other's backs no matter what—even if it means punching some Magistrate soldier butt, and putting an even bigger target on their backs. Meanwhile, a mysterious Anti-Oracle character finally makes contact directly with Babs and has a few things to say about the unethical nature of Oracle's powers, and what they think should be done about it.

According to the solicitation, Batman will be working alongside Miracle Molly, one of the Unsanity Collective's most treasured members. They both recently became acquainted and after Batman saves Molly's life in a few issues time, it seems they are going to continue on assisting each other. Saint is even more unhinged than ever as he brings in all of his resources to stop Batman. So, with Ivy joining Batman, the playing field will supposedly be more even. Together as a team, they are Gotham's last hope as the Magistrate tightens its grip on Gotham.

The cover art for the issue also teases that Saint has planted a bomb that could explode any second. Miracle Molly can be seen trying to diffuse it while Batman is fighting Saint's Peacekeeper-01 once again. Somehow Poison Ivy and the Gardener fit into the issue's plot, but it's still a mystery as to how. Will Batman get a break from the insanity of Gotham's Future State villain's plans? Find out in the pages of Batman #115 which releases on October 19.
