Doesn’t reflect well on Berg does it?
Some poor paid underling will get the stick.
Another director might not be a bad idea. From Berg’s point of view though, he should hang on to everything he can. After “DUNE” crashes and burns, he won’t be so high profile.
I hope to be wrong about that by the way.

I can see him being in this one. The next movie could have Theron’s character getting killed by some godlike nemesis that had been awakened somehow. Hancock comes back to defeat the guy/gal and is getting his butt kicked when Bateman finds some ancient artifact that he uses to help Hancock finally beat the person. Get Vin Diesel to play the nemesis.

I really liked the first one apart from the absolute lameness (lameality? lameability?) of the villains. If there had been a super-powered antagonist it would have been a much better, more enjoyable film. Looking forward to the second (they have to make it now, right?) but not sure where Jason Bateman would fit into the story now. The whole point of the first is his yin to Smith’s yang kind of thing. The whole ‘reveal’ is now gone as well so it would be more formulaic if made imo.

ps Ross, do you mean ‘brakes’ as in things that slow things down or ‘breaks’ as in broken?
