G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra opened recently to a better-than-expected box office opening of $56 million domestically, and almost $100 million worldwide. The movie itself undoubtedly has its flaws (the acting, some of the dubious special effects, the dialogue…), but nonetheless it’s a load of fun.

With our real American heroes so busy trying to stop the bad guys from taking over the world, do you ever wonder what they do for fun? The guys over at have answered that question through a G.I. Joe-inspired ballad that features the likes of Ben Stiller, Julianne Moore, Henry Rollins, Vinnie Jones and Alan Tudyk. Check out the hilarious video below:

What do you think of the video? Funny, right?

  1. that was so epic…thnxs for the vid Ross

  2. That was pretty good, but it was based exclusively off the cartoon series, which has some big differences from the comics. The funniest part of the whole thing was Destro and Baroness. If that wasn’t there I don’t think I would have liked it. I think what it proved though is that the original costumes for Cobra Commander, Baroness, and to some extent Destro, translate to live action very well.

  3. After seeing that, They have to put Sgt. Slaughter in the sequel!!!!

  4. They’ve got some impressive names in there. My favorite being Alan Tudyk as Shipwreck.

Cool video. Thanks for posting it up.

  5. This looks better than the actual movie.

  6. That was pretty funny, I don’t really know much about GI Joe, but that jam session in the middle with Destro and that chick was pretty hilarious. I also liked that the other ninja guy was taking out the trash, lol.

  7. It was well done but it wasn’t funny.

  8. @Alex

I agree with you. That’s not funny.
