If you thought 10.5 was good, wait until you see The Day After Tomorrow in theaters...

There was a movie called Homeland Security on NBC a few months ago. That one was so ridiculous that I almost couldn't overcome the temptation to smash my head into the nearest wall.

    It is indeed a mystery....

I never EVER watch made-for-TV movies, but recently due to the commercials (see, they WORK!) I tuned in to watch a bit of 10.5, the flick about California falling into the ocean.

I tuned in just long enough to see a fault line opening up along a train track behind a speeding train. The fault line was traveling faster than the train thus gaining on it (ohhh suspense!). I watched for about a minute, and the entire time the fault was expanding it continued to follow the train tracks PERFECTLY. It didn't veer off to the side, didn't wiggle back and forth on either side of it, it just continued right in line with the tracks, apparently devouring them and eventually catching the train. The train fell in and whaddaya know, that's JUST when the fault stopped expanding.

I then changed the channel, with a look of disgust on my face.

    :-)
