After fans discovered Clare Crawley and Dale Moss from The Bachelorette have broken up, it's safe to say they were anything but surprised. On Twitter, Bachelor Nation expressed their thoughts on their inevitable split and why the couple was doomed from the beginning.

Dale announced the breakup via Instagram Tuesday evening, while Clare has kept quiet on the matter for now. There have been rumors circulating that Clare was blindsided and that she was the cause of the breakup after she caused a rift between Dale and his family. Other rumors claim Dale may have not been ready for marriage and kids. The former couple got engaged on the reality series after meeting just two weeks earlier. Clare was head over heels in love with Dale from the moment she met him, and it seemed Dale felt the same way after he proposed just two weeks into their relationship. While Clare may have been shocked by the split, fans saw it coming.

After the 32-year-old former football player announced his split from the 39-year-old hairstylist, Bachelor Nation took to Twitter to express their thoughts. A fan, @socalval, shared a clip from Clare and Dale's sit down with Chris Harrison right after they got engaged. The clip showed Chris asking the couple what was next for them in the future. As Dale was speaking, Clare interrupted by saying, "babies," while also giggling. Dale was taken aback by the comment, but quickly sidestepped her statement to move on to another subject. The fan also added a caption above that read, "The exact moment bachelor nation knew clare and dale would not last long." Another fan by the name of @acceptedrose knew Bachelor Nation was not shocked by the news at all. "Everyone in #BachelorNation pretending to be surprised that Clare and Dale broke up after a whirlwind six day romance," they wrote.

A third fan, @crackdaya, shaded Clare by bringing up Tayshia Adams and her successful relationship with fiancé Zac Clark. They said, "Clare and Dale broke up but guess who's still together?" alongside two photos of Tayshia and Zac getting cozy with each other. The tweets did not stop there. Another fan, @BarstoolTrent, chimed in suggesting they both go down to the beach in Mexico this summer. "I double dog dare them to have Clare and Dale on Bachelor In Paradise," the fan joked. While this probably won't happen, it would make for fantastic reality TV. Another great tweet from Bachelor Nation came from @joshuachenault1, who shared a photo of CNN anchor, Don Lemon, smiling like a little kid along with the caption, "All of the men finding out Clare and Dale split up after “finding true love” in only six days."

Bachelor Nation sure knows how to make the best of a bad situation. It sounds like fans may have had their jokes ready from the moment Clare and Dale got engaged. Hopefully, once Clare is over the heartache, she will find some of the memes funny too.
