A collection of concept art for this summer’s Terminator Salvation has been made available online and the images look awesome.
The pictures originate from Industrial Light & Magic and feature shots of several of the vehicles and scenery we’ll be seeing in this fourth installment of the Terminator franchise. One of the images also hints at a possible (and insane) scene from the movie.
Check them out and see what you think:

Scale representation of Harvester arm to human
An earlier design of the Moto-Terminator
A look at the large Human Transport
Another angle of the Hunter Killer Transport Design
Terminator Salvation’s detailed Hunter Killer Design

A Harvester falling from a transport carrying Marcus Wright?
An Inside look at Skynet
This post-apocalyptic San Francisco differs slightly from Star Trek’s take
You can view the high-resolution images at the Sarah Connor Society.
You may notice that in the bottom left of each image the logo for Project Angel. “Project Angel” was the code name for Terminator Salvation in early production and within the story itself, it is a research project involved with Skynet – an intricate part of Marcus Wright’s history.
The images look great and I can’t wait for this movie! What do you think of the designs we’ll be seeing in this movie?
Terminator Salvation is directed by McG and stars Christian Bale, Sam Worthington, Anton Yelchin, Moon Bloodgood, Bryce Dallas Howard and Common. It hits theaters May 21, 2009.
