transformers 2 the fallen face Awesome New Clip & TV Spots For Transformers 2

Can you believe it? We’re only one week away from the official opening of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.

While I had issues with the first Transformers like many others did, I still enjoyed it quite a bit and I find myself getting more and more excited for its sequel as the day inches closer. Helping make that happen is the continuous flow of promotional materials making their online including these videos we have for you today.

First off, we have a scene from the movie which pieces together some quick clips we have seen in previous trailers. The scene looks beautiful and flows very well. Take a look and see:

“We Gonna Die”

It feels like a Roller Coaster with some of those shots – I can’t wait to see it on the big screen.

Next up, we have three brand new ads for the movie thanks to Michael Bay’s official website. If you’re going by the numbering scheme to keep track of the TV spots, I believe these are 17-19.

Continue to Page 2 to check them out

“Ancient Power”

Among some other new footage in these vids, we got to see some more of Devastator coming together as well as a quick shot of The Fallen. Not enough for ya? Check out the five TV spots from two weeks ago and more recently, two amazing spots featuring Optimus Prime in his… prime?

Michael Bay’s got a massive money maker on his hands with this one and he knows it. I can’t really see any movie topping Revenge of the Fallen in box office earnings this summer – Especially with it having already outsold Star Trek and the first Transformers in pre-ticket sales two weeks prior to the release.

What do you think of the videos?

Transformers: Revenge of  the Fallen hits theaters next Wednesday, June 24, 2009 and I’ll be there.

pre-screening or midnight premiere because i’m actually doing the same seeing it tuesday night and yeah a imax is near but they’re not showing it till wednesday night. I’m watching it on friday night on imax as well to see the “difference”.

To me the masturbation joke was actually one of the most realistic things in the movie… i guess thats why it was the funniest part to me. I mean you try to go see if your son is ok but he doesn’t want to open the door and when he finally does he’s all sweaty and defensive like he did something wrong. The fatehr didn’t say anything at first probably because he didn’t want to make him feel embarrassed in front of his mom but the mom on the other hand… well they were drinking and alcohol does make you say things you might not say when your sober( nothing against you daniel but at the moment i’m just going to use you for an example of the alcohol thing but i’m not going to write what you did). Now had i seen my teenage son all sweaty in defensive in his room… i would have talked to him about masturbation as well but i guess maybe thats just me.

The turturro character was a joke i do agree on that but did he make more people laugh then the people that dislike cringe… yes. He must be doing something good since everytime the commercials on the big screen at my job and he appears… people laugh.. yeah shocking huh…lol. I’m not saying who the humor is geared towards because i’ve seen people of all ages laugh.

At the end of the day bay will be bay… you could pretty much copy and paste the review that you put the link that talked about the testicles and then add your extra tidbits of things you disliked when you see the movie because i don’t see much of a difference happening anyways… but this is just my opinion.

  3. Wow tough crowd. You guys need to get out more or something instead of jumping down peoples throats. As agent simmons would say “try and keep up with the acronyms”.
    Jk – just kidding
    lol – laugh out loud
    np – no problem
lmao – laughing my ass off
    Nbe 1 (I think) – aka megatron

Try to enjoy a movie people for what it is instead of picking it apart.

  4. What happened to my post? Deleted?

  5. @Voice of Reason

Sorry, I missed the “jk” you buried in your comment. And your other comment got caught in the spam filter due to one of your acronyms (which I removed). It’s on the site now.

  6. @vic

no problem. I just wanted to make sure you realized i was joking. i was messing around with you and 790. c’mon i luv u guys! :)

  7. No probs VOR,,,

I know what JK stands for. Lol,,,

  8. The “Shakespeare” comment was made because it was appropriate.

I enjoyed the movie, but if you didn’t, that’s fine. People have very different expectations of a big robot shootin’ action movie, it seems. Besides the action – which I thought was very nicely done (if a bit too rushed in some scenes) – I had fun with the juvenile humor and so did my folks, surprise surprise. It was better done than Shrek and other movies I had seen that tried to use the same kind of humor.

Though I will admit I cringed at the urination scene, but that was the sole exception.
