The Avengers Mash up Trailer The Ultimate Avengers Mashup Trailer

For movie and comic book fans it was The Avengers who really won last weekend’s Super Bowl, with Disney and Marvel Studios displaying dominance on the movie front with the best TV spot of the big game. That short teaser came alongside the online release of the extended Super Bowl trailer for The Avengers, giving fans the best look yet at Captain America, Hulk, Iron Man, Thor, members of SHIELD and of course, some of the villains for one of this year’s biggest movies.

As epic as it was, this latest footage from The Avengers didn’t quite cut it as a new full-length movie trailer, running only a minute in length, so as fans simply wanting more, we’ve created a brand new trailer for you to correct that problem.

The official trailer for The Avengers released back in October, teasing great things to come, and since we’ve only seen a few new bits and pieces from international trailers and the like outside of the Super Bowl ads, we’ve gathered it all together.

Take a look at what what may be the best trailer yet for The Avengers, utilizing elements from all of Marvel Studios’ films to date and offering a deeper look at the origins of each member of the The Avengers team with a healthy dose of superhero action, all to the background music of Glitch Mob.

This fan-made trailer was cut together by Synn Studios Inc., edited by the talented Nick Montgomery with help from Thomas Gofton. How does it compare to the official trailers?

The Avengers stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Samuel L. Jackson, Cobie Smulders, Clark Gregg, Tom Hiddleston and Stellan Skarsgard. It is of course written and directed by Joss Whedon, opening in theaters on May 4, 2012.

  1. The trailer had its cool points but the music chosen for it held it back

    • agreed.

      • I liked the music, but then again, music is almost always the hardest thing to get people together on. Unless the trailer had a good traditional score, it’s gonna be a hit and miss.

        • What about Boom Lay Boom lay Boom?

          • you mean diamond eyes?

    • Yeah, I love Glitch Mob personally but I would have prefered that they used songs like “Drive It Like You Stole” It or “Beyond Monday”

  2. Ok, now that was badass

  3. Great video… The music sounded like someone farted on some guitar strings causing them to vibrate while another recorded it…

Or, what Mr. Bay would use as sound effects for “Transformers”

  4. GOOD S**T!

  5. Meh

  6. Rob, may I ask where you got the picture at the top of this article?

    • It’s from “hobo95″ on Deviant Art – link at the bottom of the post.

      • Ah, thank you :D

  7. and i thought the superbowl trailer was epic this is just wow hulk smashh!!

  8. cool vid. horrible music. please don’t let helen keller pick out your music ever again

  9. Wasn’t really feeling it. Music didn’t match. It had it’s strong points but not too exciting.

  10. Didn’t like that at all.

  11. I have to agree with others – the music was off. I still say the extended trailer was the best, so far.

  12. i am not going to say i am huge fan of glitch mob, but their sound is pretty unique and its what gets the kids going nowadays

you see how many grammy’s skrillex took home? but of a shame but i dont think the video or the music choice was terribly off.

in fact there is probably a better song by glitch mob called “warrior concerto” that would have fit with the overall theme of the avengers a little better haha, but i digest….

  13. That was pretty awesome

  14. Not bad, loved the way they put clips from the first movies>>>the avengers.
Made me want to see this movie even more.

  15. As far as the music try The Reluctant Warrior from Trailer Head. This is by far the best fan made Avengers trailer ive ever seen and the music is what gives it the goosebumps effect…

  16. Cool mash up, i dug parts of the music like the fade away syncs.

Having said that, THANK YOU @Will Rivera, that was an amazing fan made trailer, it made my favorite videos immediately.

    • No problem. I love your trailer. The music throws it off but you edited the video beautifully.

  17. -Oh yeah, I just noticed the new Hulk CGI makes the one from a few years ago look like cartoony crap. Man, how much better can they get?

  18. Pretty epic!

Can’t complain about the music. It’s subjective and people are going to rant about it no matter. I thought it was pretty sick.

    • I’m in love with the music – I’m actually surprised some are calling that out. It’s epic for me.

  19. Awesome mash-up… definitely the best fan made trailer I’ve ever seen (if you guys didn’t mention that you made it, then I would have never believed it was fan made :D).

I have to agree with some of the others though… the music REALLY didn’t work well. It sounded a bit sloppy IMO.

  20. Love the SR logo at the end.

  21. So the music wasnt quite up to parr. Well done! Bravo! Great job

  22. Great fanmade mashup trailer, one of the best ever.

Also I like how it came up together and the music was good.

  23. You know the thing that annoys me most on Youtube? Fan made trailers that attempt to look official to get more views.

    That’s all this is.

    Knock it off Screenrant!

    • lol, so fan-made trailers should be made to look… unofficial? How does one accomplish that?

    • You do know that screenrant SAID this was a fan made trailer right?
Their editing was just so well done, it DID look official, but in no way did they use trickery to make it ~appear~ official (like giving it a fake title for example: “NEW Official Avengers Trailer!!!!”).
They clearly said this was a self-made mash up and they even provided their logo at the end if there was any doubt.

      • ^Forgot to add: “You can’t blame ScreenRant for doing a job TOO WELL”

    • Let me get out my list of standard responses:

No one forces you to watch the video. And FYI, many of our fan-made trailers/mashups have been super popular, some getting well over 3 million views.

      Regards,

      Vic

  24. Nice, i like how there was footage from each of the marvel movies leading up to The Avengers actaully Assembling. Very cool trailer!!

  25. i posted this a week ago in the comments for the superbowl trailer – “i wonder how long until someone combines the 2 trailers? i have some ideas on how to merge them, even use some of the post CA credits scenes, just dont have the time, or the pc power to do it. what would be cool is if marvel were to screen the 1st 6-7 minutes like WB/DC did with TDKR, as i’m sure there is some kind of prologue to set up the story. i have watched the new trailer at least 15 times now, driving my kids crazy i’m sure!” so i knew it would happen!

  26. Favorite lines from the trailer: ” I have no plans to die today” – Thor , ” I don’t play well with others” – Tony Stark, and Loki: I have a army. Tony: We have a hulk. That was funny. I was looking forward to this movie for a long time. Looks awesome.

  27. Thanks for the feedback, everyone! It was a lot of fun to cut together. People seem divided on the music choice, but I appreciate the comments nonetheless.

  28. None of the trailers – this or the official ones – are doing much for me. There’s just the general epicness of seeing them all together and I think they’re riding on that too much. There’s no hook to get you in. I understand, and presume, that they’re keeping things secret, and have no doubt that the movie itself will be phenomenal , but the trailers are still kinda meh.

  29. So… who’s going to die in this one? My guess would be Hawkeye….
