When Black Panther finally arrives in Marvel's Avengers, his voice might be provided by God Of War's Kratos himself, Christopher Judge. For months now, developer Crystal Dynamics has teased that the mighty ruler and defender of Wakanda would be added to its superhero action RPG, though it presumably held back any formal announcements out of respect for the late Chadwick Boseman, who played T'Challa in the Marvel Cinematic Universe before his untimely and tragic death from colon cancer earlier this year.

Although Marvel's Avengers hasn't performed as well as Crystal Dynamics and publisher Square Enix had hoped when the game launched in September, its creators are still pressing ahead with their massive DLC plans for the game. This includes a multitude of additional playable heroes, such as the soon-to-be-released Kate Bishop and the PlayStation-exclusive Spider-Man. Any other characters are still the subject of rumor, but it seems that at least one of them has already found their voice - and it's a voice fit for a king.

As reported by Forbes, noted Marvel's Avengers rumor hunter Miller posted a string of supposed sound files from an upcoming DLC update that seems to feature Christopher Judge voicing Black Panther. These brief clips, which feature T'Challa reacting to various battle situations, come as part of a continuous stream of leaks by Miller that also hint at a massive Wakandan raid level coming alongside its ruler. Check out the voice clips in the tweets below:

This wouldn't be the first Marvel character Christopher Judge portrayed, as he once voiced Magneto in the X-Men Evolution animated series of the early 2000s. However, it was his fantastic turn as Kratos in 2018's God Of War reboot that scored him the most acclaim in the world of voice acting, as he skillfully brought pathos and humanity to the previously vengeful slayer of deities as he journeyed with his son Atreus across the lands of Midgard. This portrayal even earned him an Outstanding Achievement in Character during the 2019 D.I.C.E. Awards, and he'll likely return to voice the Ghost Of Sparta in the upcoming sequel, God Of War: Ragnarok.

It hasn't been officially confirmed that Christopher Judge is indeed voicing Black Panther in Marvel's Avengers, but it certainly sounds like him in Miller's leaked audio files. Judge would certainly be a great choice to bring T'Challa to life in the game, as his deep and powerful voice would suit the strong and wise king of Wakanda well, as demonstrated in the aforementioned clips. In any case, it seems like it won't be long before the Black Panther brings his claws to Marvel's Avengers, and hopefully he can help bring the troubled game back from the verge of defeat.
