A new magazine cover for Avengers: Endgame puts Thanos back in his full battle armor, but also gives him a new or repaired Infinity Gauntlet. Fans of Marvel Comics waited six years from the first time Thanos' big purple head turned around and smiled at the end of The Avengers to see him truly realized on the big screen, and Avengers: Infinity War made sure it was worth the wait. The Mad Titan made small appearances before, but he showed just how powerful he can be - with or without all six Infinity Stones - during his proper introduction.

Thanos was successful by the end of Avengers: Infinity War in acquiring every Infinity Stone so that he could snap his fingers and wipe out half of the universe's population. The simple act eliminated plenty of heroes from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, drastically decreasing the amount of them available for Avengers: Endgame. While the Avengers gear to actually avenge something for the first time, Thanos is relaxing and healing on Titan 2.0 after Thor delivered a nearly fatal blow.

In addition to wiping out half of the universe, the snap also affected Thanos as it permanently damage the Infinity Gauntlet, according to directors Anthony and Joe Russo, which has left many wondering how this will factor in to Avengers: Endgame. Well, thanks to upcoming Spanish covers for Empire Magazine that recently surfaced online and were shared by Rochi Shion, Thanos' menacing look for Avengers: Endgame has been revealed. We've known that he'll put on his full armor once again to better protect himself from any possible threats, but now he's got a nice and fully functional Infinity Gauntlet once again.

UPDATE: Empire has now officially released its Endgame covers online. Take a look, below.

Even though this cover isn't an official image straight out of Avengers: Endgame, the design is clearly lifted from somewhere. Thanos' armored look and the Infinity Gauntlet have previously been seen in merchandising materials for the film, but this is the first time that we've received a proper look at him. We know from the first trailer that Thanos is still wearing the damaged gauntlet in the actual movie, so if he does start with a damaged gauntlet, it would appear he either manages to repair it or forces Eitri to make him another. When these covers are paired with Empire's official subscriber cover of Thanos on his farm, it does make one wonder what makes him go from a peaceful farmer to this new, all-powerful look.

The Avengers have already discovered how dangerous Thanos can be without any Infinity Stones, and especially when he has most or all of them. If he does indeed have a new gauntlet here, then the Avengers' mission just became a lot more difficult. We don't even know exactly what their plan is going to be, outside of Captain Marvel proposing in footage shown to Disney shareholders that they go to his garden and take the Infinity Stones for themselves. As more details on Avengers: Endgame make their way online, the state of Thanos' Infinity Gauntlet will be something worth keeping an eye on.
