The second Battle of New York continues in new set photos for Avengers: Infinity War, with Paul Rudd's Scott Lang taking the spotlight this time around. Being a Marvel actor has never been an easy job, but 2017 will put many performers to the test. For the stars of Black Panther and Ant-Man & the Wasp, they'll be working nonstop thanks to their solo films and the two Avengers movies. That also means Atlanta will spend most of the year playing host to Marvel Studios films - and though Infinity War is almost done with production, Avengers 4 and Ant-Man 2 will kick-off very soon.

In the meantime, the final days of shooting for Infinity War have brought lots of photos and videos from the set of the film. With downtown Atlanta serving as New York City, we've already seen Doctor Strange, Iron Man, Bruce Banner, and Wong all team up to fight an unknown threat. Even more troubling, at least one of the villains they're facing has the power to take down the Sorcerer Supreme. Now, it looks as if Ant-Man will be in on the action and running for his life.

Just Jared has posted some new photos from the Avengers: Infinity War set, and they show Paul Rudd as Scott Lang/Ant-Man on the run from an unseen threat. You can check out those images by clicking on the link below. [UPDATE: While Just Jared identifies these set photos as coming from Infinity War, it seems more likely that they are actually from Ant-Man and the Wasp, which reportedly began filming on July 6. The rest of this article has been left as it was originally published.]

While the images don't reveal much, they do confirm Ant-Man is part of the ever-growing list of Avengers who will be on hand in New York in Infinity War. The city will of course need all the help it can get, as it hasn't been too long since it last faced an intergalactic invasion.

The images also follow some from earlier today showing Lang and Strange together, with a mo-cap opponent attacking the fallen sorcerer. There's no telling when in the film these scenes take place, but they certainly appear to be in a climactic moment. Then again, that's how the airport fight from Captain America: Civil War appeared, until it turned out to be one of many battles in the film.

With so many characters and locations, it's difficult to tell what the narrative structure of Infinity War will be. One thing that seems certain, however, is that there will be chaos and loss. We know the movie includes a "devastating" Hulk/Widow scene, and it's unlikely to be the only gut-wrenching moment in the film. With production wrapping soon, hopefully more concrete information regarding Avengers: Infinity War will be on its way.
