[UPDATE: All 8 Avengers 2 posters have dropped, along with the full one-sheet that compiles them together.]

If you haven’t been following along, San Diego Comic-Con is the annual event where Marvel Studios – along with much of Hollywood – reveals upcoming film projects. Since becoming a self-financing studio and later being acquired by Disney, Marvel’s film division has held a massive panel annually in the San Diego Convention Center’s 6000-person Hall H – a place of legend for Con attendees.

It is here where we got our very first looks at the Iron Man movies, where we first met The Avengers cast and where movie surprise announcements are made almost every year. It’s also at Comic-Con where the Marvel booth becomes a daily must-see attraction on the show floor, often displaying set pieces and props from the Marvel Studios movies (Infinity Gauntlet, Iron Man armor reveals, etc.).

Yesterday evening was preview night for Comic-Con 2014, the day before the convention officially opens and we walked by the setup to see Lola, Agent Coulson’s custom flying car from Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. on ABC parked on stage. To the side sat the little space vessel Rocket Raccoon flies in Guardians of the Galaxy, and hordes of people almost violently swarmed the front desk. For what? These:

We were told there would be another two each day, so expect every Age of Ultron hero to get their own character portraits and expect them all the connect together for one large panorama. The same thing happened at Comic-Con 2010 with The Avengers:

And here they are (click to enlarge). We’ve just added the newly released Black Widow and Captain America posters as well:

UPATE: The other posters have dropped, showing Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) and Quicksilver (Aaron-Taylor Johnson) in battle with Ultron’s army, along with a distant view at Vision (Paul Bettany), plus Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) and Thor (Chris Hemsworth). You can also check out the complete version of all the posters together, below.
