  1. I just saw the movie and was blown away by the visuals. I have a question: why do the Na'vi connect with their horses, dragons, trees and ground but they don't connect with each other. You would think it would be part of welcoming Jake into the tribe, to get a true picture of his nature. I mean why did the witch cut him and taste his blood when she could have linked with him and known everything. And, why did they not link to each other during intimacy?

    • they do when they make love , in the directors cut,

  2. this is my favorite movie, beat the other best James Cameron movie 'The Abyss' great movie.

  3. I had heard they cut a scene at the end where the Navi were feasting on Commander Falco, but apparently it got too many cheers from a test audience.

  5. They should NOT make a sequal!!!
the storyline leaves no loose end s no clif hangers and no questions asked.
now if you were to make a sequal it would mostlikely have no important connections to the first one thus making it quite pointless in the long run!

  6. Hello! Joining in real, real late…but here goes: I watched this movie yesterday in 3D and it was a great experience! Granted the storyline runs on expected lines but I would still say nice try!

Great visual stuff…….When I watched the Na’vi and their rituals and stuff, I was instantly reminded of the Red Indians and African tribes:)…I did have a few tears during some scenes:) and I loved the ending very much….the human guy gives up his body permanently and becomes a full fledged na’vi.

One more (stupid) question: There were no proper opening titles for this film? The name “Avatar” appears only at the end…Is this correct? I was at the theater 10 minutes before the movie began. Any info on this is great…Thanks!

  7. just watched the directors cut and loved it , i have now watched this movie 4 times and will watch it again , cant wait for the one, great work

  8. taking he whole plot into consideration I have to ask:
Was Jake Sully’s brother killed so he could replace him?
Key quote “A marine in an Avatar body”
Just an observtion….knowing how things REALLy work in the world.
