Avatar promotion is running rampant right now – TV Spots, posters interviews and featurettes – it feels like every day we get another SOMETHING that pulls back another part of the curtain and SPOILS a little bit more of Avtar before you even get a chance to see it in theaters.

But why complain? We all know by now how the movie biz works – and though many of our readers have taken the stance of blinding themselves to any more Avatar promotion, if you’re reading this sentence right now, I can only assume that you want another peek at James Cameron’s latest. So peek away, at these six new clips from the film…

The clips pretty much lay out the entire first act of the film for you – how Sam Worthington’s character, Jake, comes to planet Pandora, meets the human military and scientific personnel stationed there, gets his Avatar body, heads out into the wilderness and begins to infiltrate the ranks of the Na’vi aliens.

Yep, that’s a lot of SPOILAGE.

I’ve laid out the links for you below. If you choose to watch the clips, know that you do so at the risk of your own over-exposure. I’ll stop talking now:

Clip 1

Clip 2

Clip 3

Clip 4

Clip 5

Clip 6

Did you watch them all? What did you think? Granted, this is something you’re watching in 2D, on YouTube and not exactly at the highest resolution possible – but do these clips make the story of Avatar seem interesting, or boring?

Avatar will at last be in theaters and IMAX next Friday, December 18th.

  6. @Vin

Please don’t start that “first” crap here.

Not watching the clips. Enough has been spoiled already.

  8. @DRSAM

  9. Why???

I’m telling the truth, do you want proof?

  10. I believe you buddy :)

  11. I have to admit, seeing Cameron was cool, Zoe Saldana so hot! As for Sam Worthington, if someone hadn’t pointed him out I would never have noticed the guy!

  12. @Ruiner

Avatar was most certainly not a 3 hour bore.

  13. I have decided to give it a chance.

  14. most of these are from avatar day clips. wtf!!

  15. GOT MY TICKETS!!!!!!!!!!!CAN’T WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!C’MON 18th!!!

  16. Hey guys, some early reviews for Avatar have come in from London, and they’re pretty good.

  17. Does anyone know if the movie gives some explanation as to how large chunks of rock are hanging in the sky? It looks cool and would be perfectly okay in a fantasy film but I was under the impression this was SF

  18. @Thandrale

They do give the zone in which that happens some sort of technical name, I forget what it is.

  19. Does anyone else think the scenes look, I don’t know, cluttered for want of a better word? There’s just so much light and shadow and leaves and dust and haze and stuff moving around in the background and tons of details it just looks really busy. Hard to focus on the main part of the scene because your constantly being distracted.

  20. @Thandrale

I believe they have that material in the rock, and it reacts to the magnetic field or whatever. And Vic are you referring to the “flux vortex” ;s

  21. Thanks, Stardude. I couldn’t remember what they called it.

  22. Hi,
I think many are seeing this on just digital 3D, I would advise to see this in IMAX 3D for best picture and sound. And you will like the movie…
