[Update: We have a second clip from Avatar to share!]

MTV had a live webcast today for the upcoming release of Avatar featuring director James Cameron and stars Zoe Saldana, and Sam Worthington. The event had them answer some carefully selected questions and they aired a new exclusive clip, showing off what the film looks like before and after the post-production work.

To really appreciate the years of effort put into making Avatar the epic 3D spectacle it promises to be, you need to see the images below.

The following two images depict Zoe Saldana and Sam Worthington rehearsing a scene of their characters - Saldana's Na'Vi character Neytiri and Worthington's character in his Avatar body - working on some relationship-building and archery training.

Can you spot the differences?

Thanks to Cinema Blend for the images. To see the exclusive clip from "Avatar Live," head on over to MTV (only for U.S. Viewers).

We do have another clip though that went up today on MSN. It features the characters of Grace (Sigourney Weaver) and Parker (Giovanni Ribisi) basically narrating the plot and background of the movie and how what's happening on the planet of Pandora is due to their desire for the badly-named resource "Unobtainium." Not the best of scenes for me but worth a watch nonetheless:

Are you impressed by Cameron's Movie Magic?

Believe it or not, Avatar hits theaters two weeks from now on December 18, 2009.
