Very well said Vic. I am standing by my sources until my questions are answered and that may be sometime from now! Unless JC calls me too. I take a lot of pride in my coverage, especially "Avatar" and am very, very passionate about 3D. Could that lead me astray? I hope not. I try to focus on what is plausable and the background behind stories. I am sure my scoops are not going to change whether or not "The Hobbit" will be shot in 3D or not, so we shall see what happens. Something peculiar is up though. That concept art is pretty darn good and in the style of a certain someone - I happen to still have the FULL size copy, not the smaller low res ones that are floating around. Believe me it is extremely well done. Regardless, onward and upward. Oh, and I have a few tricks left up my sleeve... Stay tuned... :-)

This image looks like a James Cameron drawing.

I've seen his work. He's not only a bigtime director he's also a great artist.
His original drawings of the T-800 terminator inspired Stan Winston to create the final endo-skeleton we all know and love from the Terminator films. He's a creative dude.
^
I'm an artist myself and I recognise his style.
I think this is a prelimary concept drawing that he drew and was prob thrown out or modified. And now looks different.
^^^
I can see Camerons look on this one.
You can see the original T-800 drawings Cameron made in the very rare "making of T2 effects softback photobook" It was a very limited printing.......
