This movie just looks amazing .James Cameron will kick some ass in december .The flying scene just looks amazing even the motion capture volume where Zoe cries the facial expression looks real on a CGI character though the uncanny valley has been broken by Weta and James Cameron team.
  • Very cool stuff! I met Vincent Pace at NAB 07 and he showed off an NBA game shot on the same cameras, and it's like you're on the floor, watching the game!

Btw, Kofi, Cameron himself said it's an "action-adventure/fantasy" film. Guess that settles that.

  • That looks so cool! If it's as good as Titanic was, i can't wait to see it. Perfect combination of fantasy, sci-fi, and love affair I have ever seen!

Found it on youtube for all our non-american users. Awesome footage. Camerons new tech is really cool.

Well said Mr. Outlaw I agree 100% Tech is revolutionary.
  • You know the story from the trailers, you know the director has been working on it for the better part of two decades. So the question is this the film that revolutionizes film? 3-D films in the past have been notorious for breaking the fourth wall needlessly, but Avatar is full immersion 3-D. At no moment do you look at the Na'vi and remember you are in a theatre. Some critics complain that the run-time is far too long, but when Jake is spending time on Pandora you feel as if you are emotionally invested in each and every one of the people and places.
