Arrested Development Season 4

The moment that fans have been waiting for has finally arrived: Arrested Development season 4 has started filming! And if 2013 is too long to wait to see your favorite Bluths, you're in luck, as the first set of photos from the premiere have been revealed.

Keeping the Bluth love alive on twitter, Jason Bateman followed up his previous photos of the Bluth sets under construction with the first photo from the Arrested Development season 4 premiere (below). The episode, titled "Michael," is likely going to feel familiar to fans of the series. Always wanting to run away from (or towards) his chaotic family, it's only appropriate that we find Michael standing at the airport.

Even so, Michael isn't the only one planning a trip to the sky. Also joining Bateman at the Burbank Airport set – though likely in a completely different scene/setting – is David Cross and Portia de Rossi, as Lindsay Bluth and Tobias Funke. Looking to still be the awkward couple-non-couple, Tobias and Lindsay's story begins with them in India, which Tobias has "appropriately" dressed for.

For those with a keen eye, you may have noticed a few familiar faces standing around Bateman in his tweeted photo. Also making an appearance in the premiere, Comedy Central's Workaholics cast were there to play the part of airport employees. Getting promoted from the telemarketing TelAmeriCorp, there's no doubt that the Workaholics crew will be a welcomed addition to the highly-anticipated season, even if it's only brief. Oh, and for those without impeccable vision, you can check out a photo taken on the set, with an actual airport employee, below.

With production just now beginning, expect to see even more photos from production being released, either by the press, fans, or the cast itself. Having been a long six-year journey to make its return, everyone involved with Arrested Development  is excited to return to the iconic characters that the world has (now) fallen in love with.

Though Gob (Will Arnett) and Buster (Tony Hale) have yet to reveal themselves, it's only a matter of time before they do. With the entire cast signed on to return, all of your favorite quotes and/or moments will certainly return. Chicken dance, anyone?

However, even though the main cast has signed on to return, there is one integral character who fans are still waiting to hear about: Lucille 2. Having been Buster's on-and-off lover, the return of the always fantastic Liza Minnelli has yet to be confirmed. Likely to be a surprise the producers are holding back as long as possible, fans will have to wait with bated breath for news on the vertigo-challenged cougar.

Of course, all will be revealed in time. And after waiting six-years for Arrested Development to return, what's another six-months? While the day Netflix premieres all of the episodes may have once felt like it would never happen, everyone can sit back and relax, because Arrested Development has officially returned.

Now what about that movie?
