I watched the movie today and its brilliant, I am a big fan of the first and second terminator and the fourth just pays back for the raped 3rd movie. and guess what? Arnold was in the movie 4 in a fight scene…he looked just like the first movie very young and strong. everyone in the cinema started screaming and I couldn’t beleive it! almost bursted into tears just for the fact they did it to bring us back memories..
again Salvation is a must watch in cinema, I felt like one of the resistance.

Wow. I never saw that movie, and before I thought it was because it follows generic inspirational sports movie formula, which I’m sure it does, but now I know the real reason, which must have been subliminal before: McG directed it. I mean, if one of your few credits is producer for the Pussycat Dolls, that should automatically exclude you from films that have a chance to be decent. As far as the comic con footage-I don’t know. Not really a lot of-anything shown there. And plus, the highlight reels they show as trailers are just that-the best parts of the movie. I’m not gonna believe in this one until I see it-and it must blow me away.

Although it hasn’t been seen since, I’m telling you the footage they showed at Comic-Con looked pretty damned good.

And McG is capable of tackling serious fare – he directed “We Are Marshall.” I thought that was a great movie and when I saw his name as director at the end of the film my jaw hit the floor.

Proof of how you always fail upwards in Hollywood. Giving a multi-millon dollar franchise with a huge fanbase and rich history of blockbuster experience to the creative genius that brought us such gems as Charlie’s Angels Full Throttle. Yeah Rev,,,that’s what I heard from an inside source, like 4 years ago… The arrival scene in T3, was re_shot on a soundstage.
Arnold was buffed out but he didn’t look as tight as he did in T2, so they altered the shot, and used some of footage from T2.
Later I heard that the rumor was that it was the exact same Arnold from T2 they just reversed the shot.

Do you mean they just re-used the intro from T2? ‘Cause on the extras for T3 it shows that it was actually Arny back in perfect shape for the role.

Yah, and I think IM is a good idea because it’s cheaper, faster, and more lifelike than motion capture. That video says it all.

The light saber duel at the end was all stunt guys, they later digitally added the faces of Qui Gonn and Kenobi.

Rob, I’ve found that rich people allways have money on their minds.
(I’ve seen millionares pick up pennies) ,,,
Arnold can’t be re-elected after this term, so I’m sure he’s looking to lock into a trilogy…

I’m sure their paying him way over 10 mil for each film plus points.
The digital effect that their talking about was allready used in T3,,,
Look at the arrival scene, its the mirror image of the arrival scene in T2.

true, money definately talks, although its wierd why Arnold still needs more of that.

I think it was McGs primary goal to get Arnie’s approval, and this was the way to do that. It’s important to have everything positive going forward into the next set of films.
