I think the whole Tony Stark bad guy thing will be explained in the upcoming Marvel event involving the Skrulls. As the previous commenter said, the current Thor comics have been VERY well written by JM Straczynski. Marvel just reprinted issues 1-3 all in one book, try and pick it up Vic, it is damn good reading. Same goes for the Captain America books, Ed Brubaker is doing a great job there (along with Iron Fist). It looks like the Winter Soldier (Bucky) will be filling in for Steve Rogers, I think everyone needs to give it a chance.

Agree with everything you said,Vic.

They probably killed Thor becuz he could kick the Hulk’s @$$ with one hand behind his back, and that would be a problem for a book like WWH,where Hulk HAS to smash EVERTHING and “nothing can stop him”……BS.

I’ll have to grab those Thor reprints and I’m following Brubaker’s Cap just because I want to know what the lead up is to the new guy who will put on the uniform.

I don’t know about that,Kel. Would be great to see WWH battle it out with the “new atitude” Thor. Maybe Marvel’s waitng to showcase this event in the future.

Has the new Cap killed “yet” and is the pistol a special?

Vic said,

There is no new Cap yet. It happens in a month or so I believe.

Main thing with the Avengers movie is, are they going to pull a Justice League and make Iron Man, Captain America and Thor movies, and then just change all the actors when they bring all the characters together?

That’s a great point. It’s WAY to early to say either way, I think. Only Iron Man is done filming, the other two aren’t even in pre-production yet so at this point who knows for sure? Although I’m guessing that Marvel will be smarter about it and use the same actors.

A little off topic I know, but I liked how in the Ultimate Avengers Animated movie and The Invincible Iron man, despite being totally different versions of Iron Man, they kept Marc Worden doing the voice. Nice touch I thought.

I’m dissapointed that there won’t be any Marvel Team Up movies. I think that’s the direction to go in. Imagine the Increwdible Hulk Vs. the X-Men, or Spiderman and Daredevil battling each other and the Kingpin; that would rule!

I can’t wait for the inetivable blockbuster team up of squirrel-girl-girl and slapstick.

Tony Stark is gonna get fired from shield, cry over Steve Rogers and hit the bottle again, then as we do with our real-live “celebrities” we’ll forgive him once he goes to rehab for three an a half days.

I would however buy a ticket to see the Avengers movie!

T., IMO, there still could be some Marvel Team-Up movies just not with the characters that are already own by different studios. Marvel could still make Team-ups like the following: Shield and Ironman, Cap and Deadpool, Moonknight and Black Panther, Thor and Hulk(again).
