Can someone explain to me what the deal is with Survivor this season? Maybe my memory is faulty, but I seem to recall lots of folks wearing actual bathing suits in previous seasons. Why is everyone walking around in their underwear on Palau?
Not only that, but the bodies wearing the least are the ones I want to see the least (Photo on the right notwithstanding).
Seriously, what’s the deal? The only possible explanation I can think of is that when the contestants show up at whatever airport/hotel they are not informed (or are misled) about when exactly they’ll be leaving for their final destination. Maybe they’re told to leave their luggage at the hotel because they’re being taken on a tour, hence being caught flat-footed. On the other hand, these folks do have clothes with them, the stuff they arrived in.
What I’m wondering is what the producers would have done if some of the women arrived wearing thong underwear or sheer bras?
In any case, future contestants, take note: When you get on the plane in Los Angeles, be wearing a bathing suit under your clothes and as for clothes, have on everything that you are planning to take with you to the island.

Survivor is one of the reality shows I enjoy, if only to see how stupid some can be. With each new show I wonder if the contestants ever watched the earlier shows. They all seem to make the same mistakes. However, I have also come to realize that the education and experience level across the board leaves a lot to be desired. They are clueless about anything if it doesn’t come prepackaged and from a convenient store. I understand they are given some material to review on how to survive in the wild beforehand, but the contestants, for the most part, really seem to be clueless. Everytime I see them looking for food, I see a veritable banquet all around them, but they see nothing. I see tons of building material to use for shelter, but they see nothing. Oh well. If I were younger and in better shape, I’d apply to be a contestant. Britta
